Got two gorgeous Christmas mugs from B&M and a Christmas candle. Boyfriend stayed in the car luckily and it was so nice to browse without the grinch telling me it’s only August 🙄 😉

Hello everyone! Having a bit of a Christmas Day today, bought two more presents. I’m going to go through my Christmas cupboard today and see everything I’ve got as well so far. I keep seeing a lot more Christmas videos and present buying videos on my TikTok so thinking that it’s in the air ❄ ⛄ very exciting!

I can already see the autumnal candles coming in the shops too!

we are doing kids christmas stuff. My 7 year old sees something and says i'm asking santa for that so we've been jotting down everything. His recent one was i want a bag like mums :D
Every time we go into The Works my kids ask to put stuff “on their Christmas list” so my phone camera is full of pictures of them grinning with random stuff that I then have to go back and find 😂

Sainsbury’s has reduced all their Christmassy food and home bits again! Found this cute dinner set for £11, my mum and dad are chuffed with it ☺

They still have a mountain of mince pies left, going to wait for them to be discounted more. Gives me time to get through the other goodies I bought 😅

Anyone know where to get some real traditional looking wrapping paper? I’m sick of everything having Toy Story on it or the grinch!
Gosh I so remember when I used to buy single sheets neatly displayed on an A board type structure draped over wooden rods....10p a sheet ❤

You are my people … the one thing I have looked forward to all summer … is putting away the garden furniture away. Done that today and I am so happy 😃

Yes but have a rolling notes app on my phone! And I cross off what I’ve bought it. I do wait until October to buy main as such presents but little bits usually are the same year on year. I’ve seen some people on TikTok already wrapping their presents though and that’s bonkers to me because surely you’ll forget then and they’ll get ripped and dusty?
Wrapping needs to be in December, Christmas tree lights on, and a glass of something alcoholic 🤣 although I have boxes wrapped under the tree every year in my colour scheme as soon as the tree goes up in November. Don’t put any real presents under the tree. Santa stuff stays hidden and family gifts wrapped and in gift bags in my room.

I mentioned this to Mr2 yesterday.
I NEVER get an advent, im not sad or mad as I genuinely never see the point but this one i KNOW I'd like.
I could make my own but unsure how many readily available mini jars there are on the shelves.

Alarm set for 2027!

I saw this pop up on my youtube feed this morning. I have been reminiscing about the "good old days" lately, haha, so watching nostalgic videos. This feels so comforting to watch and brings back nice memories from when I was a kid.

Has anyone seen Xmas Nat on TikTok? I love her posts but I can’t get my head around the fact she has her tree up and all her decor all year round? Shes on live every day listening to Christmas music. Her kids must be so confused.

Me and the old dear go to most of the local pantos. But for years our tradition is to go the Glasgow King's Theatre on Boxing Day.

When I went to book boxing day 2025 in December 2024, I couldn't get the front row (I need this cos mum is frail and can't easily let people in and out of rows) we had to go on Saturday 27 December 2025.

So for boxing day 2026, I've had the seats booked since the beginning of December 2025.

But to get a decent seat for pantos for in December, you need to have these booked early. So far, I've got 3 pantos, Tony Hadley's Christmas Show, Christmas at the musicals, a Scottish Christmas celebration with Edie Reader and Matilda all booked for late November and December.

I'm also going to book Step Into Christmas cos they're on sale.

And then I wonder why I'm broke!!!
