I've not started Christmas admins yet 🫣. But today I've driven past an inflatable Santa in an England kit..this is the kind of crossover that could get me interested in football
.
A game that can ruin Christmas
Mediocre AlleyJohn Lewis have been selling them as a pick and mix, single flavour boxes, and so Waitrose are a sister shop. You're right though, Quality Street isn't nice any longer and should have its name changed.
As soon as I was pregnant with eldest penguin we decided to stay home for Christmas. For me Christmas is mostly centred around the kids and it’s easier and more relaxed being at home. We’re open house and absolutely delighted if anyone wants to pop in for a bit but we don’t go anywhere! There are tons of days you can see family and break up that monotony between Christmas and new yearI wanted to ask if anyone has ever done an alternative christmas?
We've been invited to a relatives again and I'm really not feeling it. The baby will be 6 months old, everyone bar me will be boozing and there was a lot of fall out last year because of the family divide - everyone speaks to each other except for one (its deserved) and so they weren't invited and they ended up alone (I did call in on my way home with the kids to wish them a merry Christmas and have a brew to be fair). Anyway, I just cant be doing with the inevitable trouble that will follow. The family are still going on 5 months later about it
I was thinking of doing a buffet party for me, Crapbag and our kids and we just spend the day at home in pyjamas eating shite with our phones off playing games etc. Has anyone done this? Was it shit or good? I know the kids would love to spend the day with their cousins and so I dont know what to do for best really. Advice/tips appreciated!
I don’t know why this has struck me so much in terms of like I’m getting older, the world and life is changing all the time.Catherine O’Hara has passed away today. Both of Kevin’s parent are no longer with us. Will make me feel slightly melancholy when I watch Home Alone this Christmas.

Its probably not a good thread for you because this is about Christmas love from what ive seen! Im not sure if theres another but you could always start one for non Christmas lovers!Hi! I wasn’t sure if this was a good thread for this, but I genuinely can’t handle Christmas. I’m autistic and every single year it gets more unbearable. I really want to hide away all of December. There’s just too much expectation
Last Christmas my eldest was 3 and it was magical! He doesn’t remember what presents he got but he remembers leaving cookies/milk/carrots out and Santa leaving footprints all round the living roomI am so blooming excited for Christmas! It will be my first Christmas as a Mrs - we get married after the summer and have a safari to Kenya planned. Our eldest daughter is almost 3 and she talks about Father Christmas ALL of the time, and also The Snowman. She woke up from her sleep the other day and said he had come to visit her, he held her hand and they flew high in the sky together 🥲. I think it’s going to be extra special this year as she’ll have an understanding of what’s happening and will be fab at opening her presents etc. Ahhh I tear up just thinking about November & December. Other than my partner and our girls, Christmas is what I live for!!!! This thread just makes my heart sing whenever there’s been new postsX
