Ah feck I forgot about Black Friday 😩😩
Bought a few things lately I probably could have saved a few quid on 🤦‍♀️
I can’t be arsed waiting on Black Friday. I don’t think the savings are ever that good. Plus want to be more organised, knowing I have what need. Maybe different for TVs etc, but I’ve honestly never seen great deals here in the UK that make it worth the wait. I suspect most companies inflate their prices before it.

There are a few (not many) companies that just don’t ever discount so Black Friday is a genuine saving, but most of them are the same offers they bang out every few weeks 🙄

Yeah you’re right. I just always have it in my head that I’m gonna get some great deal. Wishful thinking 🤦‍♀️

I have nowhere else to say this so you lot can hear it, I have decided to get a REALLY NICE pre-lit tree this year. That is all! I am excited to shop for it!
I just bought a new one too as we are moving and I need a taller tree!

I think I may have to rein in my Christmas decorations this year, I have a new puppy that steals everything 😂 We are having bets on how long the Christmas tree will last

Just ordered a load of xmas presents for my children. Not sure where I am going to hide them! Those who get real xmas trees, how long do they usually last? I have never had a real tree but I've decided this year I am going to get one. But I usually have my tree up mid November, if I got one around the 5th December, would it last til Christmas?
We get one every year from our local garden centre, usually a 7ft one and normally around the end of November.
For us, ours lasts the whole of December though we do notice around Christmas Day the branches are starting to droop a bit but for us we only really keep it up until about the 27th or just before new years eve as we go on holiday in January and just want the house back to normal before we go.
Just keep an eye on the water and keep it topped up but don't overfill it.
Be prepared to find rouge needles throughout the year :D
They are worth it though :)

Ours is from Homebase and has lasted for years! I wonder if they’ll do any Black Friday offers 🤔
Another shout for homebase!
We also have a tree from Homebase for the kitchen, my mum gave it to us a few years back but I still remember her buying it originally - it must easily be about 15 years old  It's a pre lit one which has 3 parts that you just sort of screw together and it still looks the part all these years later.

I go to a christmas tree farm early December and select it and a fella with a chainsaw cuts it down for you. I don't take it down til 5th Jan and it's still usually as good as new then

I usually get one the first weekend in December and take it down end of the first week of January and I never get brown branches.
Water it every 2-3 days and my heating is never higher than 19C for some context :)

They also have a gingerbread milkshake and a chocolate orange milkshake in their Christmas range (they're with the drinks kept near the sandwiches/food to go bits) I wanted to get the gingerbread one today, but they were all out - there was a label on the shelf though!

I'm loving the real Christmas tree chat! We are Chrismas tree-less currently and am planning to get a real one this year and then a pre-lit one in the after Christmas sales!

For those of you who get real tree, how much am I looking at roughly for a 5ft tree? I'm in London, so I'll probably have to add £50 to your estimates 😒😅

I'm getting a real Tree this Year, not to tall though we've always stuck to around 5ft.
Last Year I was kindly gifted a fake one which I appreciated as I would've been without but I hated it. It was too skinny lol I'm not against fake oes just this.
I've been trying to give it back but dont want to say I hate it. So it'll be going in my loft
