For the velvetiser fans Hotel Chocolat are doing a velvetiser sachet advent calendar this year, no idea on price but potentially a nice way to try the different flavours without committing to a box

Is booking a Sainsbury’s Christmas delivery slot as hard as Tesco? I have a delivery saver pass so can book from the 16th but I have to be in the office that day. Does booking open from midnight does anyone know?

I disgraced myself in b and m today I never go for this reason, so spent over £30 in Christmas bags to put presents in 🙈

I’ve always been able to get a decent slot with Sainsbury’s without much stress (usually on the 22/23 dec). Though it probably is very much dependent on where you live too. Not sure when they open though, sorry!

I booked my Asda slot on Tuesday - I was also a bit cautious as I was in the office that day, but my little one woke up in the middle of the night and while I couldn’t go back to sleep I gave it a go…..it worked!

So you might be able to book it first thing in the morning rather the middle of the night, but tbh I haven’t booked a Sainsbury’s one in years.

No disgrace. B&M's CEO thanks you for your visit.

There's also reusable cloth bags too so you wouldn't have to rebuy every year.

Just jumping on this thread to say our tree/decorations go up 1st December and come down on 27th December as I cba with the mess by then and like to be all clean and reset for Hogmanay/new year celebrations. I am almost all done my Christmas shopping as I like it bought and all wrapped by end of November so I can focus on just doing nice Christmas things with the kids now my oldest understands what’s going on at Christmas time now

I've nearly done all my Xmas shopping but I haven't started wrapping yet I'm leaving that until Dec as I feel its too early to wrap them.

The past couple of years I’ve been putting my tree up on the last weekend of November, normally I put it up on the first weekend of December. It will be going up on the 1st Dec this year, and then they come down New Year’s Day. We have our daughter’s birthday between Christmas Day and New Year, so I always clear away the mantle decs and put her birthday decs up there, alongside everything else. She loves Christmas, so no complaints thus far about that!

For all those who like to keep their decorations up longer….Christmas officially doesn’t end until Candlemas which is the 2nd February. 🙂
Never understood why we took them down on 6th January, that’s Epiphany and the 3 Kings had only just got there! 😂

I've ordered this for my sons bedroom as I missed out on the cheap argos ones posted earlier in this thread. Happy with that price 🎄
