Biggest anti-climax .. I’d never even heard of himAnyone else disappointed as to who the celeb turned out to be?! Wouldn’t even call him a celeb. Do remember being shocked though when he got married as always assumed he preferred men![]()

Emma Willis is one of those people that you hope would be nice so I'm so glad that that's the caseI had the pleasure of meeting Sir Bobby Robson twice - and what a total gentleman he was
Also met Emma Willis too, me and my friend were the first ones to spot her at a Matt Willis gig she was at supporting him in the crowd. We waved at her and she came over to us, we stood together for a good 15 minutes chatting and having a little giggle before people began noticing her and she left to do her celebrity duties.. she was so down to earth and even more gorgeous than she looks on TV if that’s possible at all!
I nearly killed him a few years ago ... he ran across the road from Waitrose straight in front of my carNever met him in person but I've spoken to Sir Trevor Mcdonald through work. An absolute gent with the most distinctive voice in the world. I knew exactly who he was before he even introduced himself. Sir Trev for the first elected head of state I say!
This is amazing - love Hugh Jackman so pleased to hear how lovely he isA couple of years ago I was visiting my daughter who lives in New York. We were out shopping and it was pouring with rain so we decided to go to a nearby hotel restaurant for an early lunch.
As we approached the hotel a large man was hurrying out with his head down talking on his phone. He banged into my daughter and knocked her backwards onto a small potted bush that was by the entrance.
He immediately stuck his phone into his coat pocket and grabbed my daughter by the elbows and yanked her back to her feet. By this time I had already admonished him with “Christ, watch where you’re going” when I looked up into the face of Mr Hugh Jackman.
He was so apologetic and insisted on escorting us into the hotel lobby where he sat my daughter down on a chair.
He then asked if he could get his driver to drop us somewhere and we explained that we were actually just coming to this hotel for lunch.
After hearing this he walked away and spoke to the concierge, who had been hovering close by since we came in.
He then came back over to us apologised again and said “Have a nice lunch ladies” and strode out of the door.
He is even more gorgeous in real life and very tall and broad with a definite twinkle in the eye.
The concierge came to escort us to the dining room and explained that the bill for our lunch had already been settled by Mr Jackman.
What a legend and a true old school gentleman.
Ha ha that's funny re Fearne Cotten - I'd heard (on GG possibly) that at one restaurant she left a shitty nappy on the table. Wasn't your restaurant was it?I used to work in Richmond (UK) and that area is quite rich and lots of celebs lives there. I have heard that paparazzi is not allowed there, they can't get license to take photos In that area or something like that. Maybe that's a lie, not sure.
The restaurant where I worked was often visited by big celebrities and I have served Tom Hardy and his wife Sarah Ward ( Such a nice, humble human beings), Meryl Streep was there with her husband and friends - also very nice people, Fearne Cotton - overall nice but always left big mess with her little ones , waiters nightmare.
Many more - Ed Sheeran was there with Ellie Goulding, Idris Elba with his family, Jamie Oliver, Dougie Poynter from McFly, Emily Blunt and her husband John Krasinski - really liked those two.
Natalie Dormer was there with some filming crew , Amanda Holden and Chris Hemsworth with families. Lots of footballers , but I can't remember their names.
Overall everyone was very nice, polite , left good tips . What else can you wish for.![]()
I like him too. Plus at least he's honest about his ginger hair and that he just covers it up...unlike a certain someone.Rylan gets a lot of stick for his tragic X Factor history, and the fact he is orange with terrible fake teeth and dyed hair etc. But I do quite like Rylan, I think he is a genuinely nice guy, who appreciates how lucky he has got with TV work. And I do wish him continued success.
So much love for this! Love hearing stories like this, good on herA friend of mine has a cousin who works as a concierge at a London hotel. When Kim k visited a few years back she tipped him big time for all his help. He said he would put the tip towards his donations for an up and coming charity run he was doing. Kim asked what it was for so he said a children's hospice and mentioned the name. Three days later 20 iPads were donated to the hospice 'with love from Kim and family'![]()
My relatives are friends with his close friend. He signed his book for me (I wasn't there) and wrote a gorgeous personal message on it. He is a wonderful manI’m loving the nice stories about Graham NortonI would absolutely love to go on a night out with him and get pissed
I met Princess Anne at Buckingham Palace. I won an award and got to meet her. She was lovely.Yeah I've heard most of the royals aren't so bothered about protocol.
Husband served with Prince Harry, when prince h was doing his training he was obviously a higher rank than my husband.
So my husband was on guard, H came through the gates, husband stood to attention and did the "sir" thing. He said Harry said "alright mate?" ?
Husband doesn't really care for the royals but says Harry is a good bloke, and was really down to earth.
