I remember constantly thinking too, during those vlogs, that it was really awkward to watch the mismatch in their energies. She always seemed to try so hard to get his attention, or was so focused on him, while he always just gave this awkward-looking toothy smile in response. Like you I also kept wondering why she wouldn't edit those moments out.

But then it is tough to interpret these things, maybe that's just the way Oliver is, and it said nothing about how awkward he felt. Still. That whole series essentially felt like Carrie making a vlog series about Oliver, and it was very strange. Back then I used to watch her vlogs for her, and then suddenly her vlogs became constant updates about what or how "Oliver Ormson" was doing (did he watch a movie on this flight? What movie did he watch? Did he sleep well? Did he have a headache? Did he feel nervous? Oliver Ormson drank all the coke zero. Oliver Ormson is doing a silly dance. Oliver Ormson wanted this cake for his birthday, not that one). And I didn't know who that guy was or why I should care. Weird weird.

He looks annoyed at her constantly filming without asking if he's okay with it. He must be fake sleeping on the plane haha

NGL I find it really strange that people are calling her recent story a fish for compliments on a thread literally titled as a joke about her career being over. We all know she experienced damage to her voice during Heathers, in fact many people on the last thread were speculating that’s why she’s doing plays and panto. It’s also no secret that Cinderella was a disaster and she was that show’s leading lady.

TBH I really assumed she was being genuine in her stories about not having the same levels of confidence as before. She’s had a messy year in the world musical theatre, that’s for sure.

What is up with her tongue. It does look like a lizard!

The hair....it is orange. A more natural colour would suit her better.

But I agree that the video today was very unprofessional. I wonder is she questioning her abilities when she has landed a panto role but her understudy has a west end role in a very popular musical.

If I heard that right, she mentions that it's a 12 hours and 50 minutes flight. I see nothing wrong with watching a few movies on such a long flight.

I see a tendency to over analyze past footage and look for problems. People don't always have to talk.

I will have a 12 hour flight with my bf whom I love in a few months and I plan on watching movies as well . I even find it disrespectful towards other passengers talking too much on a flight, I know I've hated when people around me have done that.
Imagine having Carrie as a passenger behind you talking 12 hours straight, she's so loud and annoying no amount of earplugs or headphones could drown her out.

The problem is it looked like a cry for help but she's also notorious for being an attention seeker and trying to get compliments. It's hard to tell with her

Oh, you’ve missed an incredibly passive aggressive “I was bad at my audition” video that was really unprofessional.

If you want to view her stories you whilst being blocked you can use this website. Scroll down the page and click on the picture of her face with the white writing that begins “it’s really fun auditioning…” and it’ll take you straight to that story video so she can be angry and shout at you too

Her stories about the audition got me thinking, would it not be painfully awkward going to an audition knowing that if the panel happened to look you up on social media they would immediately find a photo of your buttcrack and videos of you snogging your boyfriend??

However more recently she’s talked of going to a specialist doctor, having some treatment and having worked extensively with a vocal coach at Cinderella. I’ve read plenty of comments and seen reviews, particularly after Witches of Eastwick, that her voice has never sounded better. ! think the Heathers damage is a thing of the past. I think the career change was linked more to the unprofessional behaviour or her wanting to try new things than vocal damage

I first watched her story about that audition with no sound, but watching it now with the sound.... she sounds so passive aggressive (even though the passive aggressiveness is directed at herself, it's still kinda intense and uncomfortable to witness), and...I just don't understand the motive of putting that online for thousands to see. I mean, I understand she either wants sympathy and compliments for fans or the people she auditioned for to know she just had an off day and can do better, but... I can't relate to wanting to spread that vulnerability to everyone.

But her grades were mediocre and she dropped out to pursue a career. I don't think she had a lot of friends there either. What a surprise. She probably thought compared to the upper middle class girls she attended with, she was dirt poor.

Tom got a scholarship to Sylvia Youngs but I'm pretty sure Carrie didn't and he also paid for that as well. And it also wouldn't surprise me if he's contributed financially to some of the family holidays.

They do have lower middle class roots but it's never affected Carrie as much as it should because Tom's dipped in his pockets for her so many times.

I remember Carrie put up a story a month or so ago about a friend from schools mum; she got in their car and the mum said “meet my new friend Chloe.” Or words to that effect and the mum was talking about a Chloe handbag. Chloe bags aren’t and have never been cheap! She was so nonchalant about it.
As someone who did grow up poor (mum cleaned houses and did ironing cash in hand to bring up my brother and I, alone) this would have been mind blowing to me as a kid!
My sister in law got a Chloe for Christmas- the size of a wallet and £500 and I couldn’t believe it!

Yeah, we heard her voice in Witches just a couple of weeks ago and it was back in top form. Not sure what she’s on about here…this is certainly a deeper flip down than we’ve seen in a couple of months. Concerns me that as soon as Joel is away and she’s not being peppered with attention, she seemingly falls apart…

agreed. It might not be only the voice but yeah it’s been a rough year. With the breakup and cinferella
crash and burn. Lauren Byrne getting miss honey and her just doing short concerts and panto. I genuinely believe she isn’t feeling confident and things aren’t going the way she wants to.

Yeah it's almost as if jumping into a rebound relationship a few months after a breakup that she hadn't anticipated or wanted, wasn't the healthiest thing in the world after all (who would have thought? Oh, everyone). And depending your happiness entirely on being in a relationship is a recipe for disaster for anyone. But we all know that Carrie is going to go through this cycle for years to come so...

There are literally a million moments like this in her Addams vlogs, I never understood how she didn't see how one-sided their relationship was. During one of her Three Cheers for New Years videos she was having lunch with Oliver for the first time in awhile she just kept sticking her camera in his face, as he sat across the table looking extremely uncomfortable and covers his face and even murmurs "why are you not saying anything...?" and looks embarrassed and yet she kept it in the vlog...to prove to all her followers "look! I still see Oli!" (this was before they were official post-tour)

And during rehearsals once they were backstage about to show her camera these Hogwarts House dances that literally no one else would find funny since it was clearly always meant to just be an inside joke between them, and an announcer comes on the PA and says they need to rehearse a song and the whole time Carrie's listening to the announcer she just DRAPES her arm on Oliver's chest and it looks so awkward and forced, to which Oliver shows no reaction...and in Singapore he asks where a ride at Disney was and she's like "I don't know babyyy!" in this cutesy voice and he just deadass doesn't respond...no emotion on his face, nothing. There are literally millions of other moments like that. How she was "blindsided" by her not wanting to be with her shows a mind-boggling level of forcing an internal narrative.

I disagree. Sometimes auditions just go to shit! Granted, external factors might affect an audition but she seems pretty happy with life at the moment. If she wasn’t happy, I don’t think she’d feel confident enough to share an audition didn’t go well, which is unusual to share anyway.

I think I mentioned earlier that while I do believe it was most likely attention seeking, I also wondered if it was possibly meant for her private Instagram account? And maybe she is more sincere over there?
