Title is a marriage of suggestions from @EnterNameHerePls and @treatyo'self 🌟

The kits have 'sold out', Caroline doesn't want people to buy skincare on credit or Klarna but Clearpay is okay, and she continues to know everyone and everything more than anyone else in the UK Beauty world.

Carry on Tattlers...

Mod edit

Title was the below, but neither had that many votes and some were complaining about rhyming for the sake of it :)

What toothpaste are you using? Buy my Kit or I'll have a fit!
I don't currently regularly watch Caroline but I have on the past, she's the person that properly got me learning about skincare products and ingredients - so i do kinda of have a soft spot for her and I do think she knows some stuff.

However, her cult following is kind of crazy. I have a friend, she's a student with a part time job - so not a lot of money. She spends all of her money on Caroline's recommendations and saves up to buy her kits. Despite working overtime to buy products her skin has not improved. Caroline as made it so all these girls with mediocre/bad skin think their skin experts because they know what acids are and buy expensive skincare.

I can't begrudge her making hay while the sun shines, at least she is doing her own thing and taking initiative unlike a lot of influencers who just do paid adverts and affiliate links. Let's be honest if I had the fans who would make me a mint every three months by releasing a product I'd be over it like a rash.

I personally think she should release the kits every six months especially when they have all been pricey. Or she should mix it up and have a luxury and budget kit to make them more accessible. Make the budget kit say between £50 and £100 depending what's in it and the luxury one say £200 - £300. Two kits at £300 doesn't make sense to me as she is limiting the people who can afford to fork out that kind of money in one go.

I'd also make the bags an optional extra most people don't need any more cosmetic bags, if you are in to skincare and beauty they are regularly part of gifts with purchase etc.
I would begrudge her. The info she gives can be quite damaging to some people's skin. She portrays herself as an independent expert. She's a self-important grifter.

I wonder if CH ever wonders about the monster she’s created on that board. (I have been a fan, learnt a lot for her, see some ego issues manifesting and stopped following but don’t find her as problematic as the general vibe in this thread - just to make my position clear #transparency).
This is my position too. I have a lot to thank her for, and she has definitely done a lot of good. It's actually more the fb group that riles me more than CH herself now.

Actually, I'm going to take the credit for you all learning about Dr Natalia Spierings now 😁
Save yourselves loads of cash and have better skin. You're welcome 👍🏼

For me it's the mental advice about applying loads of actives daily to your face and also the implication that if you are not spending a fortune on your skin you are neglecting it. She has this ridiculous quote comparing the amount you spend on a handbag should be comparable to what you spend on your skincare products.

I really despise this as we have all seen women on the freaks board sticking stuff on their credit cards, egging each other on to get into debt in the name of a "treat". Then giving themselves 3rd degree burns through overuse.

I’m posting this here as I don’t think Nadine Baggott has her own thread, and this has annoyed me this morning - doesn’t take much to be fair 😂

Nadine’s done an IGTV, shop with me in Superdrug, who she does work with. Then goes on to do a tour of a shop, which looks to be pre-arranged perhaps as there are no customers around. Pointing out in store features, Superdrug brands plus a couple of other brands she likes.

All the way round her mask keeps slipping down below her nose and she keeps having to adjust it. Very distracting and obviously the mask isn’t doing it’s job properly if it does this and she’s wearing it out and about.

No #AD or #paidpartnership on display, nothing. Although please correct me if it’s hidden somewhere and I’m just not seeing it! I’m so sick of this shit. I hope her mate Hirons gives her a big kick up the arse, publicly 😡

The cheat sheet thing - she’s 99% concentrated ego right now. I’d be cringing for her if she was my friend. Why shouldn’t a brand do a cheat sheet for their own products, who does she think she is, I’m embarrassed for her.

Is any part of anyone's natural body not made to be disgusting by the so called beauty industry? Are we supposed to be ashamed and repulsed by every inch of ourselves? What a foul industry.

It certainly wasn't subtle and it's not a phrase I'd use myself but I think they were putting the emphasis on skincare is no match for botox. Also, people see how Caroline interacts with others and they probably mirror that to a certain degree when interacting back with her. She's about as subtle as a sledgehammer herself

She was on IG live yesterday saying influencers shouldn't be getting free facials at the moment due to the industry suffering and if they do, they should be tipping well. She said she leaves a tip worth the same value as the treatment when she gets her hair done at Josh Wood. What does everyone think?
Why not just pay then? And leave a normal tip. She's still paying less but sounding like mistress bountiful.

This reads like a piss take. Even if it’s genuine, I’m sure there are plenty of forums for gay men where they can seek advice on this type of thing. Attention seeker.
This. Should have just deleted it, she has a group of predominantly women on a skincare group but she’s pandering to a man’s asshole. Mother of god (in Line of Duty style!)

I mean - if you’re a gay man asking how to make your asshole appropriate for another gay man, why exactly are you asking a group of women? Are women posting this? Nope. But he couldn’t take his cue from that. Hmmm

The freaks group has been full of people saying oh I would be complaining if it wasn’t connected to the CH discount code. What the actual fuck? Why would a discount code from some random that has no loyalties to you stop you from complaining?!?
