The actual nerve of her to tell people to pre pay for treatment and suck it up if they can’t make the appointment😡.

As said , she gets free hair ( which is actually bad publicity for the salon as it’s so awful) yet thinks she can badger her followers .

The hypocrisy is laughable to say the least.

I quietly follow this thread but had yet to comment. The harassment of beauty business to make donations, and then to pit them against one another is absolutely crass.
Trinny donated £25,000, no doubt under pressure from that vile, crass bitch and get Trinny is often poked fun at by Caroline, dragged for her skincare by Caroline and referred to a few times as a lunatic. She didn’t even send her a book until Trinny called her out that she didn’t receive one. who needs enemies with friends like Caroline.

I was really disappointed with her Pixi double cleanse. I am lucky and I can handle scented products and I find the lack of scent a bit.....something missing in terms of the pampering aspect of standing at the mirror and focusing on this little ritual. Anyway to me it was just two different textures of goo.

I don’t care what colour people have their hair. I do think she is so shouty now - good god woman who on earth do you think you’re talking to? She really taught me how to look after my skin way back so I am coming from a place of having liked her once - there’s such a cockyness these days (I am sure she would counter if she were a man she wouldn’t be accused of this but actually I find arrogance and cockyness off putting in both sexes). She’s pretty unrecognisable these days in terms of demeanour.

totally agree, it always looks so brassy and yellow even freshly done! She needs a good toner on it. I also think she would look so much more attractive with dark brown hair. Her skin is yellow and hair is yellow ... it’s not a good look

On the other hand, Trinny has gone way up in my estimations donating 25k. I know it's her company but I'm sure she still had to sign off on it. I wonder where the likes of Estee Lauder, Loreal, Space NK, etc. are? Even some of the big influencers. I saw Zoe Sugg donated 500. She probably earns that in a few minutes.

She's a clueless oaf. Caroline, they don't need your ridiculous white saviour act. At first I thought she was just embarrassing herself but she's actually in offensive territory now.

Caroline, not everything needs your hot take or spoke. Sometimes it's better to sit something out if it's not for you. Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.

She didn’t need to mention her arse did she?
She could have said something about her being motivated and dedicated to fitness instead, rather than praising a physical attribute in a cringe way.

“... products that Caroline works damn hard to curate so it brings both results and happiness to people”

Thank you for this gem, @Stonecatlin.

I AM DEAD. 😂 💀
Since when did ‘curate’ become the frickin catch all for PICK or SELECT? It’s not an art exhibition, it’s a box of face creams.
What a load of absolute twaddle . Get a grip people (as Queen Caroline would say).

She works really hard out of the goodness of heart to sell you stuff love! 😂

Some of her followers are "devastated" that they weren't able to buy the kit because clearpay declined and they can't afford to buy the kit otherwise. Like, maybe theres more important things than the kits to focus on if a £250 outlay is unaffordable without payment plan.

Didn’t the last kit sell out in like 3 minutes? It’s crazy. CH’s minions really will buy anything.

In the Facebook group, I saw someone make a post saying they feel bad because they were too tired to do their routine last night and I’m just baffled by the post itself and the comments! OMG it’s ok, it’s just a mistake, don’t do it again, your face won’t fall off, it’s fine OMG today is a new day, etc! 🤢

It’s not that deep, please. I haven’t done a proper skincare routine in months because I’m too depressed and suffering badly with haemochromatosis* at the mo, but my face is still intact. I bet the freaks reading this will shriek in horror. I’ve stayed indoors mind, if that helps. 🙄

*I’m only 29, ffs 😩😂

I’d heard about CH and seen her book, I looked her up on Instagram and I’m sorry but the woman’s face looks like she is melting.. so much filler etc that looks like it’s moving down her face!
And I hate the way she is so shaming of people using high street skin care- sorry we can’t all afford to spend £180 on 3 skincare products 🙄

She’s so quick to sit in judgement of others who don’t meet her meticulous standards, spending hours ranting and raving in her stories, yet she can’t even comply with the very simple advertising laws. How much time and effort does it take to place a prominent #AD on an Instagram post? When it’s your job.

She probably deems herself to be above such things, but this sort of behaviour is exactly what turned me around from liking her to seeing that really she is just out for herself.
I used to follow her advice religiously, back in the cheat sheet days but I honestly can’t keep up with all the brands that she recommends and raves about only to drop when the next best thing comes along. Anything she posts now I just assume is an #AD 🤷🏼‍♀️

1. A foaming cleanser.
‘As a rule, steer clear of ‘foaming’ on the bottle.’ Source: blog. Need I say more?

2. A ‘toner’. Direct quote from the blog re toners: ‘When I talk about toner I am not referring to some alcohol-laden mixture of water and witch hazel.’ It’s also listed on the blog as one to avoid for sensitive and rosacea prone skin. Was this mentioned?

3. An SPF 30. Remind me who the poster girl for ‘nothing below SPF 50’ is? ‘Massive difference between UVA and UVB damage between 30 and 50’ etc etc source: almost every conversation/insta rant about SPF ever.

I was unable to find the inci for Fenty Skin, I am generously assuming the cleaner is SLS free (would love to know the pH) and that the Fat Water doesn’t contain alcohol but the top two ingredients for the latter were water and witch hazel if I remember correctly.

No shade to Rihanna, most skincare lines look like the above but for CH to ’educate’ us and then review Fenty Skin like she did... no thanks. Usually she is on one with ‘clean’ marketing but didn’t go on about it too much here.

The thing is, I’d be less likely to go there a) because he’s doing it for free for all that lot but also, none of their hair looks that great 🤷🏻‍♀️

I can’t fathom how people can spend so much money on something when they’re not sure what exactly it is they’re buying (size etc) and if it’s even really suitable for their skin type.
It feels like she reveals the kits and then puts them on sale really quickly afterwards so people have to rush in fear of missing out without having time to research the products and think carefully about the purchase. If it’s all such good stuff for everyone then give people more time to decide.
That’s the bit I hate.
Yes, I admit I have previously bought her Cult Beauty boxes.
Back then she’d do a YouTube video with Cult about a week prior to launch, going through the contents, what they did, etc. I’d then see if there was anything in it that I really wanted and price up those items individually to see if it was worth the money.
Now it’s a case of wham, bam, thank you ma’am!
No time to think because everyone is whipped up into a frenzy.

I’m sure if she did it a week prior, it would still be a sell out and she’d be less likely to have people cancelling their orders the next day after realising they can’t really afford it.
She said that happened a lot last time which is why they are not dispatching until Wednesday so it gives people time to cancel! So she knows herself that this method results in buyers remorse.

I much prefer the old way.
I won’t be buying.

There's some poor sod on her FB group this morning who's job is in the travel sector and is at risk of redundancy , yet she's desperately trying to justify why she should buy one of these overpriced kits....this is not on
I had a rant on another thread about this phenomenon, it's infuriating. Influencers and their marketers preying on these (mostly) women's desire to be part of something to sell them overpriced shit. Whether it's Hinch or anyone selling crap people don't NEED, I'm sure they argue that no-one HAS to buy these things but they target and exploit the 'whatever army' and #SomeBintMadeMeDoIt and use their extensive selling experience to make sure those that don't buy feel they've missed out. Advertising, overt and covert, works and they're masters at it.

Even if it's good quality, or "value" how many who buy these and are maybe struggling for cash are going to have a life improving experience from £250-ish of skincare versus the budget versions and spending the difference on something they actually need, a weekend break or something.

It boils my effing piss, to coin a well worn phrase.
