I've scaled back my consumption of Caroline so much over the last year or so. When I first started reading her blog i liked how direct she was and how she was willing to say that a product wasn't that great, which is clearly what a lot of people liked about her. But she's almost become a caricature at this point - realised that people liked her being direct and has just completely let that get to her head to where she's unbearable

I can see why she is calling the barbers out, but it seems unfair to that particular business as there are probably a lot of businesses taking liberties with the rules.
The Blended Beauty and Beauty_Unplugged on IG are great. Bonnie Garner is another. Ttsandra on YouTube is definitely not as well-versed as the other two in the science of skincare, but she’s the only “influencer” I don’t hate watch.
Self quoting just to add that CH seems to do a fair bit of brand advising for the Body Shop who responded to J K Rowling's essay where she revealed her history of being a domestic abuse survivor by essentially telling her to shut up and educate herself. Body Shop still haven't removed the tweet. GYAC, if you're on the same side as people issuing death threats, grape threats and telling JKR to choke on a "girl d*ck", it's not a great look.

I don’t know how, (through clicking I think,) but earlier I landed on Caroline’s Instagram stories. Suffice to say, I won’t be going back.
What is her problem? I get that she is trying hard to be ‘WOkE’ but does she not see that calling people out for having different opinions as her, is just as bad as people calling out her opinions in the first place
So what if there are certain religions that don’t believe in homosexuality or won’t acknowledge the transgender. I’m pretty sure the LGBTQ community don’t actually want their support and won’t be apologising or bothered with them anyway. Also I can’t see any of the BAME communities running head first into a EDL March asking for their friendship either. Not everyone is the same fgs.
As for the ‘stay in your lane’ thing. Anyone’s entitled to an opinion about everything as long as they do their homework and make it from an informed, well balanced, honest place. We think what we think and that’s that.
She’s offended that the ‘certain white women’ that have been buying her skincare range for years and keeping her business afloat are asking her to calm her mid life crisis down for the gram.
I’m not that ‘certain white woman’ but I don’t feel the need to drag them out. Who died and made her chief of women? She should wind her neck in

Im really over CH now. The whole ‘woke’ thing is bloody ridiculous. She is a massive hypocrite too...apparently on radio 4 she called a load of her followers ‘Karens’ I’m not
certain in what exact context but presumably because some white women are complaining that her feed is less skin care and more social opinion. So much for embracing women by ridiculing anyone who has a different opinion.I do have similar opinions as CH on vaccines etc and it goes without saying really about BLM but manner in which she delivers her views are beyond childish. In fact, I’m sure many children could deliver a better, more well reasoned argument for their beliefs than her.
Ranting and raving is not going to change people’s opinions, how about she take a breath and listen to people and maybe engage in intelligent conversation rather than telling people to ‘get in the bin, ‘get in the sea’ etc etc
Ok so, I have followed CH for a number of years now. Her Instagram used to be primarily about skincare and her stories appeared to be a hilarious snippet into her personal life.... what the hell has happened now?! Constantly preaching to people now!! I understand she's trying to use her "platform" to help the BLM movement specifically within the industry of "skincare". I also get that she feels her industry is being victimised by the Government, but the way she has gone about this is totally wrong. Asking people to take photographs through barbers windows if they see a man having a beard trim, etc... it's an invasion of privacy for one!!!!

It's so bloody confusing, her mother's American but Irish Catholic, but speaks like Joan Collins. Caroline's born in liverpool and raised catholic, but raised in Mississippi and raised Baptist, but speaks with a London accent.
I also don't get where shes had the time to do all of the training in brands she says she has done? She tries to claim shes a superwoman but thrives off being "relatable"
