With these boxes I usually wait to see what’s in it, and if it contains 2 or more things that I would use anyway then I might buy it.... this box has 3 things that I use anyway so I got it as buying them separately costs so much more (they are all full sized products).
but it very much depends on what’s in the box and I wouldn’t buy it just for the sake of getting it because madam Hirons said to.

Oh but I did put it on my credit card. Dammit.

On Ava's Instagram she is working out during lockdown in a gym. This gym looks over a huge garden. Is this on the ground floor of Caroline's home? There is a wooden sin lounger in the garden, but in yesterday's stories Caroline said they had finally bought proper garden furniture. They had bought a black set.

So repetitive, same stories, same turns of phrase, same advice. Never thought i would get bored of her, but i did. I could have written the article myself almost.

And the pictures of her in the article are terrible. It’s just rubbish all around!!!

Is this a recent diagnosis , does anyone know?

I started following her years ago and this is the first I’ve ever heard of it.

I think she said she was diagnosed about a year ago? Her daughter and 2 sons also have it apparently

It's my understanding that she has no formal training.
Her background is on beauty counters I believe (Her Mum and grandmother also worked on beauty counters, so she hypes up that 'legacy').


Correcting myself. On her website, she has this vague statement, which doesn't actually clarify (IMO) what she is qualified/trained in.

No years given. Then what did she do/where did she work afterward? Seems like she was a facialist/beautician?

What did you find out about why CH doesn’t mention certain brands? Is it discussed on her board? I assume it’s conflict but would be interested to know if it’s discussed rationally on there rather than defensively.

Because she isn’t impartial, so it’d be a conflict. I’d understand if she didn’t like someone because she didn’t rate them but that’s different.
No I realised about the lack of impartiality from this group.
And I feel more comfortable now I have the bigger picture as I was getting really uncomfortable about the whole scene.

I left the FB group after the Sali Hughes debacle. I have to say, following some of CH's advice has really improved my skin, and I do love some of the products I found through her. But yeah, she's aggressive, rude, narcissistic and dishonest. Although that does seem to be the formula for successful 'influencers' these days

Unbelievable, isn't it?

It’s not as if brands don’t pay to have PR and SM teams, who’s job it is to be on top of all mentions of their brand, good and bad. So surely, unless their PR people are completely useless, they must know about Hirons previous attitude towards them. Unless they do know but don’t give a monkeys and are happy to do a deal with the devil to increase sales - cash is king after all.

She won’t debate, she talks/ shouts at people and isn’t really interested in their opinion unless it supports what she has already stated.

An example of this behaviour is when she stated, quite categorically, that Michael Hutchence was the best front man of a band *ever* and she said ‘don’t @ me, I’m right , no discussion’. He was hugely charismatic no doubt but no one loves music more than CH so a differing opinion is worthless and pointless to her .

She could learn the art of saying nothing, the JK Rowling issue regarding Transphobia for example but she just can’t help but throw that booming voice and gurning expression into any heated discussion she can sniff out.

Oaf suits her personality to a tee.

I actually think she has adult adhd. Thats my 2p worth!

Hmm I think they’ve both taken them down, maybe they agreed to disagree. CH posted something scathing about Axiology and Estée called her out on it. Then she responded to Estée saying something about how although it wasn’t her finest moment (paraphrased) she wouldn’t take advice from an anonymous account that gave Brandon Truaxe a hard time before he died. They posted up her message but covered up the bit where she called them out on Brandon. Now it’s all gone. The attached was their post of her first post.

Is there anyone you do recommend ? Not being cheeky genuine question.

I do watch Meejmuse (she’s from S Korea). She does Korean products, and more natural skincare now which I love. All the products she’s recommended are available online and I’ve loved what I’ve gotten. She does very in depth reviews and she doesn’t claim to be an expert which I love. I (knock on wood) don’t have major skin issues and I’ve always been more interested in non American, Western European brands due to the harsh chemicals/ingredients in products. They work better for my skin. Also I don’t put a ton of products on my face (def do not do the 10-12step S Korean method) but I’ve used the same products which she recommended for years and they’re amazing. Expensive but worth every penny imo.
