I really feel for Christine, I imagine losing a child must be a pain that will never leave you. That said, she's in complete denial about Caroline and her chaotic, unhealthy lifestyle. She, and only she, is to blame for taking her own life, it is not on anyone else at all.

I wish the press would be more accountable with what they actually print! Half of the time it’s not accurate. Surely they know whether it was a bloody lamp or phone she hit him with? Yes that doesn’t excuse what she did at all but they should at least have to report accurately! Personally I’d also rather people thought I self harmed, rather than it looking like I bashed someone so badly with a lamp, there was blood everywhere!
When she died there was a wave of sympathy for her, all of her press courting antics and such were swept under the carpet and she was largely remembered as a fragile woman with mental health issues who tragically took her own life.
This documentary and her mother’s determination to find fault in others is going to bring up all those people who actually knew Caroline and all the ways she mostly ducked up her own life.
You can bet people have stayed silent out of respect for the way she died, but it will come out and chances are there will be evidence which will just confirm everything that was written about her before she died.

It makes no difference what she used to hit him over the head, the fact is that she hit him, with an object, hard enough to break the skin. He had a head wound.
Her mother is trying to rewrite history by splitting hairs about which weapon her daughter was wielding and whether the first on scene were right to call the head wound "significant". It's disgusting, and I wish that she would stop and think for a moment about how she would feel if the shoe was on the other foot.

Well said! Lamp, phone or whatever….she attacked him causing injury. Christines trivialising is disgusting and shows the type of person she is. Caroline received an incredible amount of support from friends and Lewis before she died but continued to blame everyone else. Lewis was not the first boyfriend she’d bashed and she was essentially an abuser. Caroline is responsible for her own death and Christine would be better accepting that and letting go of a pointless vendetta no one believes.
Losing a child is devastating but continuing to publicly place blame on her friends 5 years down the line is pretty abhorrent. Caroline was 40 years old and she’s acting like she was a child who was not responsible for her actions. Sadly this maybe shows part of the reason why Caroline could not take responsibility and face consequences for her actions.
After watching the trailer I don’t understand what the mom means by “there is so much the public don’t know”. It comes across as if there is going to be a reveal that will shock everyone. I feel so so sad for her family but I don’t understand what the documentary is about?
I really don't think this documentary is a good idea at all. Caroline should be left to rest in peace now. It's dragging up a lot of unnecessary stories and I've seen a lot of hate for Caroline on tiktok etc calling her an abuser etc. I don't know the details of what down with her and Lewis, I don't want to or need to especially now Caroline has died, but it's not letting her rest in peace. It's bringing up so much negativity and she's not here to defend herself. A bad idea all round imo

Couldn’t agree more. I’ve seen way too many comments over the past few years pulling up people for daring to speak up saying “In the words of Caroline Flack blah blah blah”. One look at their profile usually shows them to be utter hypocrites who have no issues calling people “c*nts etc. or making threats on a regular basis! Such a shame she hadn’t said “if you can be anything, be honest” instead.
I just saw it too, and I can’t help but think how ashamed CF would be about the whole thing. This is a bad idea all around.

(I too have MH issues & was a binge drinker, quit 7 years ago & got on an antidepressant & it’s saved my life)
Aye, it is heartbreaking for any mother to lose their child, but no good will come from this documentary.
This documentary makes me uneasy. I feel for her mother. She’s really hurting & it’s understandable to lash it but I don’t think this is the way. Let Caroline rest, the girl was tortured since she was young with so many mental issues. Just let her rest. Since she passed every z lister has used her name as a get out of trouble card implying they would take their own life for being called out. It’s the biggest most awful thing, it genuinely turns my stomach. Let the girl rest.

That could have been done in 1 part not 2. Totally strung out. Couldn’t really see anything new that hadn’t already been confirmed or speculated on. Lou Teasdale has been completely airbrushed out of Caroline’s story.
