i dont think the details of sophie gradon were made public

how horrific for carolines poor dad and sister having to get her down. i always thought it was difficult to hang yourself.....how did she get it right in such a short space of time. she may have googled to find outs feel so so sorry for everyone who knew her.

In one episode of a USA real life crime show called Cold Justice that I watch, a man hung himself in a tiny closet in a hotel room. An expert said all he had to do was put the ligature over the clothes rail and basically lean back so you don't actually even need height.

As an aside I watched Dawn’s stories a few weeks ago where she was watching naked attraction which is presented by Anna Richardson. She was slating the program and saying ‘sorry Anna, I love you but’. I thought that was quite unkind considering she’s now telling us to be kind?

The guy was working away with two friends at the time and they were all sharing the hotel room. They didn't hear anything and found him in the morning.

It's horrible thinking about it. I've known three people who took their own lives - acquaintances really - the men both hung themselves, the girl took an overdose. And it tends to go along those gender lines although, obviously, there are always exceptions.

There is definitely more room for a 'cry for help' with an overdose or cutting. Hanging is pretty final unless something goes wrong.

I think, sadly, CF's mind was made up especially given that she'd apparently had a history of failed attempts.

But the coroner will explore all of this.

I imagine she had already done her research into the how to. This isn't the first time shes thought about taking her own life so she would have had a "plan" my brother is often suicidal and has planned it a few different ways with a few failed attempts already, by failed I mean he's backed out although he did take an overdose of antidepressants which wouldn't have actually killed him, just damaged him internally and has now alerted everyone to his situation. He is always a recreational c user, heavy cannabis smoker but he doesn't drink much and is struggling with mental health issues. The help available is near non existent for him. If he would only give up the drugs catch 22

What bothers me about this law that Stephanie Davis is trying to pass is that it could be subject to being abused by celebrities. What I mean by that, is, would it give them a way to act like a total gob, do as they please but they can't be called out on it because that's trolling and that's not good for mental health so therefore the press and the public who have said anything to me will be accountable if I turn to drink or drugs or suicide?

Does that make sense?!

Yes it does make sense I think that’s exactly what’s she’s after.

A friend of mine works with a charity that deals a lot with male victims of domestic violence. He’s said in the past week, quite a few have felt unable to go forward with pressing charges or even getting help because the outpouring of love for Caroline Flack and the fact that her crime of domestic abuse has been reduced so much.
It could be a knee jerk reaction but it’s something I’ve been worried about happening. Such a horrendous situation.

I would’ve thought so too but a girl I went to school with’s Dad hanged himself, his wife went out and he phoned her a while later and asked how long she’d be and she told him she was just around the corner and wouldn’t be long, but then she bumped into someone she knew and stood chatting to them instead of going straight home. When she arrived home he’d hanged himself, so it seemed he wanted to know that she’d back in time to find him and save him but because she got distracted sadly he died

My impression of it is that she sent to someone for approval first, they said no don't post it and that's how they have it

How terribly sad. It was interesting that it says the police were “flagged down” and taken in to the flat and that she was already on her back, that would suggest those that found her took her down. I used to work in the police and was always under the impression if someone was found and there was no uncertainty about whether they’re alive or dead then they had to be left as it’s treated as a crime scene. This was certainly the case when my brother found someone in the woods (he was only 15 at the time)

im going to unfollow this thread and stop reading about her I think. I find it all very sad and it’s bothered me a lot this week. RIP to Caroline is all I’ll say on it now, speculation doesn’t bring her back sadly
