You've proven my pointNo I didn’t. Read the thread again.
The girl in Prince Andrew’s case was said to be trafficked, so yeah, it is a bit different.
I don’t know where you’ve gotten the idea I like young boys because I’ve pointed out a few facts. I must have missed the post where I said that. It’s a bit of a stretch like, but if it makes you feel better, carry on love.
FYI, my husband was 11 years older than me - old enough to be my Dad by the standards in this thread. Urgh, what a sicko he was - marrying someone young enough to be his daughter
Seriously, just set up a petition to get the age raised if you’re that bothered.
11 years isn't 15 years, but if you were a teenager and he was in his 30's, then yes I would still think it was gross, especially if you were under 18.No I didn’t. Read the thread again.

You’re obviously too intelligent for me because I’ve no idea how saying I married someone older means I like young boys, which is what you were accusing me of.You've proven my point![]()
A 12 year old is underage. What are you not understanding about what I’m saying?Think about it, wouldn't you be shocked if you heard of a 12 year old in a relationship with say...a 20 year old? And that would only be an 8 year difference. Does that make it ok? Cos it's less of an age gap than in your marriage? It's not about how many years are between them as much as it is about someone in their 30's being sexually attracted to and having a sexual relationship with a teenager. If it had happened when he was in his 20's, not the same, but he wasn't. He was 17.
Because for reasons I can't quite understand, you started to compare this to the 11 year age gap in your marriage. That's not the point and you know it. The point is, this was a person in their 30's having a relationship with a 17 year old. It's one thing for an age gap from your 20's onwards, but this was a kid! A lot of people don't think that's ok and other developed countries consider that illegal, for good reason.A 12 year old is underage. What are you not understanding about what I’m saying?
The reason is because @NessieNoo92 thought I liked young boys, so I explained that they were wrong and I married someone 11 years older. Hope you understand where the 11 years came from now.Because for reasons I can't quite understand, you started to compare this to the 11 year age gap in your marriage. We're in the UK, so why is the rest of the world relevant? There's countries where it's even lower. So your comment is completely redundant. In many countries it IS illegal, the uk just happens to have a lower age of consent than others.
Dark ages? Because I don't think it's ok for someone in their 30's to have a relationship with a teenager? Sounds like it is YOU that lives in the dark ages, if you think that's ok.
Simmer down love. 11 years when age appropriate is nothing but you’re missing the point. YES he was of legal age but the point being why would a woman of 31 be interested in a 17 year old ffs - that’s like a schoolteacher having it off with one of their students. Are you saying that’s right as well? You’re obviously too intelligent for me because I’ve no idea how saying I married someone older means I like young boys, which is what you were accusing me of.
To be honest I really don’t care how old people are as long as it’s not illegal. Sorry if that bothers you.
Edit, sorry @Coinkeedinkee - didn’t mean to tag you in the last point.
Why the hell would he need a beard at his age.. And what 31 year old woman is going to take all the tit she got for a charade? It doesn't make any sense. I haven't read beyond this page but I sense Larry shippers are around...Was it illegal - no
Was it morally okay - probably not
Was she a beard and there was no relationship - probably
it’s done Now, she got bashed for it constantly at the time ( years ago) so not sure how it’s even relative to this thread now
It wasn't. They were just having a laugh. Anyone could see they fancied each other.I’m surprised anyone thinks this was a legit relationship TBH!
Because Simon Cowell was trying to sell them as a boy band. And notoriously boy bands believe that the crazy girl fans support them more when they ‘believe’ they have a chance with their idol. Why the hell would he need a beard at his age.. Harry isn't gay. He's definitely dated girls. And 1D fans never cared when they spent years insisting Harry and Louis were secretly married. They pass around gay Larry porn!Because Simon Cowell was trying to sell them as a boy band. Tons of boy band members were too scared to come out as didn’t want to upset management/ the fans ... Stephen gately anyone? It’s really not that unusual. And anyway The rumour is Simon asked her to do it and in return she got a big hosting job in return which would basically launch her ‘mainstream’ career..... obviously that’s a rumour but she did then present the X factor??
still not sure how something that happened about 8 years ago is relevant to the current situation and why everyone is getting their knickers in a twist over it. She’s dead ffs let it go
Larry shipper? I’m in my 30s couldn’t give two hoots about 1d
Celebs are damned if they do and damned if they don’t. There was a number of people in here kicking off about all the celeb tributes. Maybe Harry didn’t want to make a public declaration of condolence, he didn’t have to, he’s obviously a private person and he paid his respects in his own way at the brits anywayHarry isn't gay. Don't believe about Simon either. Why would he pick a 31 year old and not some 17 year old. Even back in 2011 that fling was more trouble than it was worth for all involved.
I'm pretty surprised Harry never paid respects to Caroline on social media. I know he wore a black ribbon or something but still. Only Niall from 1D posted about her. Found it a bit odd and disrespectful seeing as she hosted the show that launched them.
I just find it weird when people want a public tribute? Fair enough if the celeb themselves decides to make one, but I don't think its necessary...they can go to the funeral or say their condolences to the family in public. I remember kids harassed Debby Ryan endlessly when Cameron Boyce died, and were constantly asking why she hadn't posted. Like, let them grieve fgs.Celebs are damned if they do and damned if they don’t. There was a number of people in here kicking off about all the celeb tributes. I just think it’s up to the individual and that’s that. It hasn’t got anything to do with anyone elseI just find it weird when people want a public tribute? I said it was immoral at best and illegal at worst. Meaning in other western countries it would be illegal. The age of consent is another matter really anyway. A relationship between a couple of 17 year olds? Fine. A relationship between a 17 year old and a 32 year old? Not fine. Do you get it?The reason is because @NessieNoo92 thought I liked young boys, so I explained that they were wrong and I married someone 11 years older. Hope you understand where the 11 years came from now.
You also said it was illegal and I said it wasn’t. If you and other people don’t like that - petition.the.government. Moaning about it here isn’t going to change anything, is it?
On the contrary, 17 year olds are very much still children these days, probably more so than they've ever been. A 17 year old has to legally still be in education nowadays. So a 17 year old is effectively still a "school child".We're in the UK, so why is the rest of the world relevant? There's countries where it's even lower. So your comment is completely redundant.
No, I also didn't say it was ok for someone in their 30's to have a relationship, however he was 17, which is LEGAL and also vastly different to someone in their 30's being in a relationship with someone say, 15.
17 year olds are not 'children' these days, stop twisting comments to suit your agenda.
