Someone has posted a screenshot of her response to Pier’s post in the thread if you wanted to read.

agree about the hangers on, I read today about her former flat mate who hadn’t spoken to her since 1999 on the daily mail

Ahhh I’ll scroll back and read. I don’t know what it is about JJ
Can’t take to her.

And that’s disgusting! Cashing in on 5 mins of fame from a tragic death

Wowwww. I wonder how much they paid for that - a few hundred quid ? Can that really be worth it ?

She was named in the autobiography (Storm in a C Cup)... makes you wonder if the press have door stepped everyone that got a mention in the book. Especially the ex-boyfriends. It's sad really. Goodness knows if she was paid for the interview but there's been a relentless intrusion into grief this week that is quite distasteful.

At least the friend from 1999 had nothing but nice things to say? She wasn’t trying to save face like most of the journalists in her life now writing articles

One thing that's been bothering me is the story of Lewis messaging other girls that came a couple of weeks before her suicide.

It was this story, appearing as a Sun "exclusive"

It feels like it's been swept under the carpet a bit in the aftermath, but with all the be kind chatter something like this feels just as significant, given we now know the lamp bashing itself was triggered after reading a suspicious message on his phone.

It was the day after this was published Burton made that pretty lame/unconvincing "we aint split" post. Same day she made the unfulfilled promise to break her silence (Sun link again)

There is a wound in that picture

Yeah I remember her saying her anxiety flared when she wasn’t working
Well if there is a wound, why is he showing it in her defence. Its minuscule, hardly an injury from an alleged lamp injury that someone was supposed to be attempting to kill him

Will the description of that body cam footage ever make it to the public, do you think? It would have if the court was to go ahead.

I would be very surprised if the bodycam footage (or a description of it) were to ever make it into the public domain, and rightly so.

The inquest in the Summer will be focused upon Caroline’s death, so again, am not sure whether it would feature there and be reported upon, but even if it did, I think it would be a significant breach of confidentiality if explicit details were to be made public and the Met would be accountable if the footage saw the light via another means. Somebody more knowledgeable than me will hopefully be able to provide you with a more definitive answer.

Purely going by this https://www.gov.uk/request-cctv-footage-of-yourself I'd assume logically it'd tie in with a Subject Access Request, I'd say its highly unlikely they'd show it, not sure how they'd do with the deletion of it from their standpoint though as with any CCTV footage is overwritten after 30 days

^ that breaks my heart with those people attacking Caroline I feel so protective over her now. Sometimes the seemingly strongest people need that extra support.
Attacking? Are we looking at the same screenshot? I can’t see any attack. Just people having opinions on a vulgar sounding tv show?

If it helps, when my child was a toddler they dropped my phone onto my head as I lay in bed and I needed stitches So that was a gentle, accidental drop from about the waist height of a toddler.
So, possibly not a huge amount of force.

The police complaints commission will look at the footage though. If any of the report is made public. they may say something about what was on it.

Her ex who she split with just before she was on Strictly supposedly cheated on her with an actress from Glee.

Yes 'supposedly'. The story ( given to the Sun again) is he was out with the actress he was working with in LA. Caroline found out and big arguments were had. It doesn't mean he did cheat. She posted stuff about him 'ruining her life' online and then deleted it. Sounds familiar, with Lewis she was convinced he was having an affair with someone at work too!

I wouldn't define that as attacking but more as having an opinion. If you're the 'face' of something you must be prepared for scrutiny and to defend that.

It could be referenced as part of the Police complaints commission Investigation. The evidence is looked at again, then they say what they think happened and in the end their conclusions reported to the press. The full report would be more private and given only to the family and coroner.

It says here what details may be released in the final report that the IOPC publish, although my guess is that they’d mention that they reviewed the bodycam footage and their conclusions on that, but may not disclose what was actually on it.

Why has Stephanie Davies made this all about her? I’m heartbroken for Caroline, her friends and family. But Stephanie fake crying and releasing a song and being plastered over social media isn’t helping this already difficult situation

Yes, I wouldn't think they would actually describe what was on it. They will just say whether the evidence supports the complaint or not. There's a possibility the family might disclose stuff to the press from the report, or after the inquest I suppose.

I don’t think that you can appeal against a case being sent for trial. Perhaps the defence were trying to get an adjournment due to her fragile mental state?

I agree, the exploitative actions of some of these triple-z listers (and other so-called ‘celeb friends’) are disgusting. I can’t imagine how it is for Caroline’s grieving family right now, with a funeral and an inquest to get through (which is awful enough), then having to see your family member’s life and death being examined and exploited in this way is beyond the pale.
