How could it possibly still go ahead if the defendant is dead? How would she defend herself and what on earth would be the point?
I feel so sad ..... I can’t say I liked her or disliked her... all I know is she is human like us all.... Someone’s daughter .... someone’s sister... someone’s love

i honestly couldn’t believe what I was seeing! Every post was negative towards women. I don’t see how they can help fathers build a better relationship with ex’s and agree access arrangements.

On the night of her arrest it was also reported that police had been concerned about 'deep self inflicted wounds' and Flack had been taken to hospital for urgent treatment.
It was reported that Flack had been treated for 12 hours before she was deemed fit enough to be interviewed by officers under caution.”
So possibly substance in the rumour discussed earlier in this thread regarding self-harming? You’ve got to wonder, IF this is true - could/should more safeguarding have been done for CF? Again - IF true, it kind of explains Lewis’ reluctance to press charges...
Once again - I am NOT condoning DV whatsoever, and I believe she should have faced the charges, faced up to/admitted to her problems and gotten all the help she needed. Instead, it’s come to such a horrible end.
It just seems such a sad, messed up situation tbh.

I don't thats it. I think people are just trying to say in their own way that this can happen to anyone whether you're a celeb or not. It's just when it's a celebrity people take notice
To actually go and commit suicide is extremely difficult. As someone who has been extremely suicidal and came so close to taking their own life, I couldn't do it. I was scared stiff. For Caroline and many other people who have committed suicide, they can't see a way out for their pain, suicide is the only solution. They will be enduring their darkest days, having suffered with pain to their death. Cancer and sepsis are physical illnesses, don't try to minimise the pain of someone mentally just because it isn't visible, it is uncalled for.
I totally agree with this. It would have taken an extreme amount of courage to end her own life. She must of been in a really bad place.
Mental health isn't the same as cancer. Cancer is in its own court. Both horrible but different.
So sad. She really needed better care, and more help, possibly a longer term residential programme. If there’s anything to ‘blame’ it’s that the support for her wasn’t there (cuts? or no one forced it because of her fame? Or she had to prioritise attending court?) or she refused to involve herself in it.
Ant went away for a year, got the help needed (whatever it was) and came back better and I feel so sad this wasn’t a route she took too.
He quite clearly rang the paps and posed for these photos. Ridiculous. As if the paps are gonna know his location without him telling them.
I wonder if she had been in the US and behaved like she supposedly did when the police turned up and when she was arrested, would she have have had what they call a 5150 in the US, like they did to Kanye West and Trisha Paytas. She basically would have been committed for 24 to 72 hours, because she was a danger to others and herself, whether that is a good or bad thing who knows. But it’s possible the police may have come down much harder on her in the US and in the process, made her get the psyche treatment she needed. But obviously CPS were acting on information from the police, that she was a danger to others and needed to be separated from her bf and to proceed with the trial.
She could have volunteered to check herself into The Priory or gone and got therapy, she could have gotten the best support money can buy. Even if she didn’t want to go to the Priory specifically, she could have gone to some kind of a retreat centre abroad to get away from it all, people that rich can get away from their circumstances and get the best help money can buy, unlike ordinary people.
