I have read so many things concerning the suicide of Caroline Flack, & no matter what it was her personal choice to end her life.
I come from a family that has had many suicides & people all look for reasons but most of the time before they do it they be one very calm so no one can anticipate their subsequent actions. It was reported her friend who had been staying with her for support went to the shops and was unable to get back into her home.
Hopefully she has the peace she wanted & her family get the support they need.
I wasn't a fan of her alive but death is so final.

Twitter seems to have ramped up the finger of blame to now include Police as well as CPS. I hope neither bow to public pressure and release any sort of statement.

If I see another ‘in a world where you can be anything, be kind’ post I think I’ll scream! No one on earth is 100% kind 100% of the time. Am I just being a bleeping witch or is this not common knowledge? I think it is far more useful to encourage people to love themselves, be confident and not give a flying duck about what strangers think about them.
Absolutely. I think I'd far rather the message was love yourself/ this too shall pass rather than the nausea inducing bekind which just boils my piss.

Been thinking about this today and watching what people have been putting on social media - it’s actually made me want to roll my eyes so far back in my head they could see behind me.

It’s terribly sad that Caroline took her own life - awfully tragic for her family and friends and something they’ll never forget. However, I cannot get my head around the same people who ripped her to shreds giving it all the lip service now that she’s gone - talk about hypocritical! The press hung her out to dry and delighted in the scandal and drama of what was actually an awfully miserable situation and now they’re all paying tribute? Seriously? She didn’t morph into a saint overnight so why suddenly change their tune? I can’t stand this ‘never speak I’ll of the dead’ mentality - Caroline had issues clearly, and she did do something awful to the person who loved her, we can’t forget that just because she’s female. She is accountable for her actions, and she would have been, only the press and social media absolutely rinsed it and made a bad situation a hundred times worse for the girl - that’s what is not on and that’s what contributed to her feeling this was her only way out. The press have got to know when to call it a day.

Oh I know with the suicide thing but it’s the depression/BPD/anxiety people are throwing out I can’t see where it came from aside from her own actions with smashing the guy with a lamp while he slept x

Sure, but were there concerns before it all came out about the abuse?
I get what you’re saying, as if smashing a lamp over a guy’s head suddenly highlighted a specific mental health issue in an otherwise normal person. But it did for me. I’ve never watched LI or any of the shows she’s been on, but I knew of CF because of the men and her relationships. I remember seeing pics of her arguing with most of her boyfriends, in public, during the honeymoon phases.
This is not enough to claim she has mental health issues. However, because I’ve been in similar situations (but never got ‘caught’ for lack of a better word), the smashing a lamp screamed it out to me. The histrionics, the drama, the violence...why didn’t they say she was drunk, it was a terrible mistake, plead guilty, and move on? This is what baffles me. Ant was in the wrong but he admitted it. CF was trying to defend the indefensible.
I suspect she believed she was put into that situation, that if the boyfriend hadn’t been such a lying scumbag texting other women, she wouldn’t have behaved that way. She didn’t have the self awareness to see she was in the wrong and that’s why everyone is claiming MH.

Why are people annoying dickheads?

“ooooo isn’t it AWFUL how the media have written an article about Andrew Brady and used a long lens on him. I’m DISCUSTARD! Such intrusion of privacy! Such horror! ”

*reads and reposts article*

Genuinely why has an explosion of mental health come up about CF? If we think back to pre-allegations, were there concerns for her mental health? Or is it just now when she was shown to the world as a domestic abuser and she got - pardon the pun - flack for it and couldn’t take the sourness? She seemed fine with adoration and didn’t mind comments then but then this happened, and the worlds opinion changed a lot and a court case is confirmed and boom now because of this, MH is thrown around and no one is allowed to say anything because it’s not kind

Like. Really?
this is a really good point. No one gave a stuff about her mental state when the allegations and subsequent charges
were made. It was all good goss at that point.

now the Twitter mob and insta huns are posting about mental health, be kind and the Samaritans phone number. It’s naive at best and reductionism at worse to imply mental health disorders can be treated with kindness and a quick chat to the samaritans.

Mental Health problems are complex, hard to treat. They can have weird symptoms which can be hidden by the person experiencing them. i often think people with mental health problems can become very self absorbed in their own problems - I am not blaming them for this - but it can make them very difficult people to be around. Often people aren’t sure how to handle or deal with someone with mental health problems which compounds the isolation they might feel as well as contributes to the self absorption as everyone is on ‘egg shells’.

at the moment we are obsessed as a society by the ”mental health crisis” but really it’s just words. No one really wants to deal with the hard realities of some mental health conditions. I feel like anxiety or depression are the two palatable mental health issues for the insta huns, who see it as another topic to drive up likes and engagement because they believe it can be solved by being kind or having a chat. It’s bull.

Yes!

Instead of "be kind" it should be... #takeyourmedication #seeadoctor #logoutofsocialmedia #turnyourphoneoff

Actual things that can help a person suffering, rather than how to treat them while letting them suffer

They said they were sad to see her go and that they would welcome her back apparently in their statement. ITV shouldn't have to hold the hand of their staff and parent them and be responsible.

Why are people constantly trying to shift the blame? The media, the CPS, ITV... when the only person to blame for all of this in the first place is Caroline and her actions.
🙌 In today's society, a large amount of people always find someone/something else to blame. It appears no one is accountable for their actions anymore. As an adult, YOU are responsible for YOU; your thoughts, your opinions, your words, your actions, not anybody else.

My ex-the police where called out 87 times in 2 years due to his dv
he broke my bones
gave me bruises
tore my brand new coat to bits-while I was wearing it
tried to put me through a shop window
stole my house keys
tried to strangle me
poured bleach all over my clothes
(and more)

*everyone at the time* ‘what did you do to set him off?’ ‘He’s stressed’ ‘it’s not easy taking on a woman with kids-you must learn to tolerate and teach him’

*the ONE time I hit him back to get him off me*

’abuser!’

men and women are treated very differently in these cases

I think I understand what you are trying to say but a person without mental health issues doesnt just kill themselves. The fact is she did have well documented issues. Mental and otherwise.

The Andrew Brady photos in the DM today looked set up to me. I don’t know why there would be Australian paps waiting around for him unless they’d been notified of his location, or why he’d be sitting down outside with his head in his hands like that. Could just be me being cynical though.

I thought so. It’s why I was rolling my eyes at the comments on the DM saying that he should be left alone. He’s a leach who has been desperate for fame for years.

I feel bad for her friends and family. Yes, she had her issues and I assume was more than likely going to go to prison, but I always feel bad about people feeling suicide is the only out. (This isn't me condoning her abuse at all though)

I can't deal with Dan Wootton suddenly saying how lovely she is on Twitter and The S*n deleting half their articles about her.

I hope her boyfriend especially doesn't blame himself for this. I know he dropped the charges (I don't know if that was his own decision or not, or if he felt he had to...) and he still seemed to love her a lot, so I really hope he has a good support network at this time.
I honestly cannot believe the audacity of that Wooton creature! Maybe he should have reached out to her and told her how amazing she was while she was still here.

Kerry Katona has shown messages on Instagram between herself and Caroline over Christmas where Caroline was asking for help on how to deal with fathers4justice who were sending hate to Caroline. Kerry had the same from when when her ex husband died .
I saw that then looked on the fathers for justice insta page. I cannot believe what I was seeing. They are just vile bullies! Caroline didn’t even have children, they had no need what’s so ever to be posting tit about her and bullying her. Especially at a time when she at her lowest.
