I can totally imagine her grabbing a guys phone and moving their thumb on the unlock while asleep 😬

I hope this case starts a wider discussion on the abused partner protecting the abuser and men as the victims of domestic abuse, both are sadly very common.

The comments on her boyfriend/ex boyfriends Instagram are absolutely vile. People truly are horrific. As if he isn't already blaming himself!
Fucking morons, what are they trying to do, make him commit suicide next. The same people blaming him are also going to be posting about blaming the press stories and blaming trolls. But are doing the same thing.

Well, he is many years her junior. She likes a toy boy, she likes being in charge. My first thought was that at 5-6 am this must be related to drugs, his otherwise you stay up this this late? It sounds like things have got out of hand....
Drink or drugs at play for sure.

Sounds like they had been on it/out and then got into a domestic once they got home.

She’s a looney
.
She’s 40 years old but behaves like a 18 year old. She’s got major issues. I don’t know what these guys even see in her - she’s not even remotely attractive. She’s just an easy shag and she’s got a few quid in the bank.

Wonder why they stood by Ant though and supported him with rehab and not Caroline? Sounds like she needs help if she's that controlling and jealous and flys off on a rage over texts between a 27 year old and 60 year old
Ant had alcohol + medication problems.
He put his hands up and went to “rehab” to address them. It was a public decline that left many feeling sorry for him for.
They can be seen to support him because he was in theory addressing his issues (I type that believing none of it to be true)

With Caroline It’s messy. She’s not come out saying she has a problem, would she get the same concern if she did I wonder?
Probably not.

I feel sorry for neither and both should have been fired.

I think this set up will be quite good!
I’m not a fan of Laura but I prefer her to Caroline! And I am interested to see how they work together, I do like Ian!

The comments! Domestic violence is domestic violence. Not on. She’s a muppet. No sympathy. If she was a bloke you’d all be off lighting torches, getting pitch forks and getting the stake ready. What she’s done isn’t on... let’s move on and leave her behind.

It will be interesting to hear her side of the story. If this was in the heat of the argument and she hit him with the lamp then it’s still no excuse, it’s all he said , she said.

She still smashed his head, as he was bleeding. She is a grown woman, she shouldn’t be reading his phone and if she had any self respect she would have asked him to leave and conducted her self in a more dignified manner. Yes some relationships have issues but after dating for a few months there shouldn’t be all this toxic crap to deal with.

I’m not really aware of Andrew Brady, not an apprentice or CBB fan. But since breaking up with her for the 10th time being vilified by the media he has moved half way across the world and not courted the media until this has come out about Caroline.

I’m sure Lewis feels bad that his 999 call has ruined her career , but he still made the call and felt it was justified at the time.

Bit hypocritical how the press have hounded her senselessly and how quickly ITV dropped her and are now reporting on the “heartbreaking news” (in their words). Should have just left her alone.

Agreed! My brothers ex-wife was incredibly manipulative and pshycologically abusive towards him and we never knew. I loved her, I thought she was fantastic. Lucky for my brother she started an affair and left him with their 5month old baby. Telling him she wished they were both dead. We only found this all out when she left and he moved back in with my parents. He was an absolute wreck for years after that.

So I 100% think Caroline is a master manipulater and the poor bf is already trying to stick up for her. Unfortunately for her, her mask has slipped and now the police have video evidence
I have a similar story with a male family member. He was in denial but one day I managed to convince him to call the men’s abuse helpline for independent advice - he gave them a few examples and they were like “yep you are in an abusive relationship”. It was crucial for him to hear that. Sadly they are still together but I’m hoping he’ll find the strength to break away soon.

I know it’s off topic but if anyone knows someone in this situation the advice from what I have read is: above all else keep channels of communication open; don’t judge them for not leaving yet; gently encourage making contingency plans; offer to keep spare clothes, copies of important papers etc for them; encourage them to keep a record of what is happening, even if it’s in code. If they tell you anything keep a note of it afterwards yourself and date it.

He could be speaking out because it appears it’s all going to be swept under the carpet when it shouldn’t! Given that it’s his experience he’s well within his right to talk about it

How is she paid 1.2 million a year for the job?! She's barely a presenter on it. That can't be right, would make her the highest paid tv presenter in the country per minute of screen time.

Caroline Flack STANDS DOWN from her £1.2million a year Love Island job to avoid 'detracting attention from the upcoming series' after being charged with assault

Look, I’m just saying what I know, what I was told. you don’t have to believe me.
You haven’t said much tbh. What exactly were you told?

My friend partied in same crowd a couple years back and has A friend still in contact with some of them.It is quite reliable source and everyone close to situ knows she basically tried to guilt him by threatening to top herself and attacked him. He wasn’t asleep at all and she was high off her face

This is a bit much in my opinion. I’m not defending her at all but I do get irritated by ‘trial by social media’ based on rumours and opinions when we’re supposed to have a system that is ‘innocent until proven otherwise’.
A mum from my children’s school was a victim of domestic abuse, unfortunately losing her life in the end. There were so many rumours about what happened, with so many different stories being talked about- half of which were absolute rubbish and made up. It was only when the full court case was completed that the whole story came out and everything that was happening behind closed doors from both parties was discussed and it shocked everyone. Of course, she didn’t deserve the outcome but there was a hell of a lot of issues from both sides.
Again, I’m not defending Flack as I have no idea of the full situation, but there will be so much more to this than we know so far so it isn’t up to people to make their minds up yet.
BS we can condemn her for the behaviour she displayed. A lot of it was captured on bodycam and footage at the Police station. She 100% deserves being put on blast
