Harry Styles has basically come out as bisexual hasn’t he? Either way, still completely inappropriate for a then 31 year old woman to shack up with a then barely legal 17 year old guy. Even for show it’s not exactly a great image to present.

I think in most DV cases it's quite common for women to change their mind after an arrest, then it's "he didn't really mean it" "I got confused/the wrong end of the stick" etc because they've been manipulated and beaten down so often they think it's their fault and that they're ruining their partners lives! I've heard before "he didn't mean it, he loves me so much he just lost it and is going to get help".

So I think it's a case of that, but in this case it's a male victim instead of a woman.

This is so true. I know from experience 20 years when an Ex split my head open in a jealous rage. By the time we’d arrived at the hospital to get it stapled back together he was so sorry, it was my fault, and I had changed my story to being drunk and slipping in the shower. The next day he bought me a ring to ‘show how much he loved me’. Absolutely crazy behaviour when I look back, but after leaving the relationship and getting help, I pin realised this is not unusual.

Really not defending her, and not particularly a fan - but it sounds like she's mentally unstable if she's threatened to kill herself more than once - do worry that her getting abuse until March now constantly isn't going to help her and really hope it doesn't tip her over the edge and she does get any help she needs.

Yeah, i get what you're saying. But it's another one of those societal differences in which it's apparently fine for a woman to be 'psycho' and lash out. Imagine if a man said 'I just go a bit psycho and throw shit at my wife. Lol. ' People wouldn't (and rightly so) stand for it. I really don't think it's okay either way tbh.

My ex next door neighbours had an abusive relationship. He beat her up a lot. She called the Police often but there was only ever one or two Police cars and he would get taken to the cells for a night. There was never six Police cars and a van! That seems extreme.

Also their height difference..I’m her height. I would find it very hard to assault a guy of 6ft 4! Presumably if she cut her hand then she’s probably cut him too, probably threw a glass at him or something?

I noticed her twin sister posting a few comments on her insta telling people they don’t know her or the facts so shouldn’t be commenting!



I remember when Caroline was dating Harry Styles Dawn posted in her defence and said he was very mature for his age!

But there would be an advantage for her if he was sat or lying down or not expecting the attack.

It's being dealt with properly and so it should. None of this speculation would be happening if he had attacked her, they would be calling for his head on a plate.

And there's always three sides to a story. What she says, what he says and what actually happened.

This really pisses me off. Like you said, if it was a bloke it wouldn’t even matter if he did it or not. The allegation alone would end his career.
I’ve always disliked her, she is very false and just not that interesting. Never understood how she managed to have such a good career.

it’s one thing for people to speculate anonymously on tattle, but his constant posting about her innocence is surely prejudicing the cps case against her?

I’m not law savvy, but it occurred to me maybe he keeps posting under some misguided attempt
to get the case thrown out.

This just crossed my mind as well. I hope that he doesn’t feel guilty because that type of thing can follow you for the rest of your life if you let it. From the newspaper reports, he was concerned for his safety at the time and totally valid in calling the police.

I also agree with others here that say that her suicide is not the fault of the media. The story was reported because she was a public figure.

She should’ve taken the Ant McPartlin route of saying she has problems with addiction, getting into rehab, getting professional help. Would’ve helped her personal rehabilitation and career image rehabilitation like Ant. As well as genuinely being the help she clearly needed. We could be hearing a different story, which would’ve been preferable

Not the right thing to say/accuse people of. Nobody forced her to read Tattle nor wished her ill - this was a place to respond to what was already known. Look at the condolences.

It’s comments like this and accusations of blame that push people to commit suicide in the first place. Where do you stop? Blame the boyfriend for calling 999, the journalists for reporting it and bringing it to tattle’s attention? No of course not. This is tragic and awful and saddening but not the fault of tattle. I hope Caroline’s family are able to find peace.

This whole business of hitting a guy on the head with a lamp *while he's asleep* never rang true for me. I mean, if that's true, then it's not heat-of-the-argument stuff, it's calculated-cold-blooded-murder stuff. Even for a troubled hothead like Caroline, it just doesn't make sense. She's more about the confrontation. EDIT TO ADD: the only source we have for the "while asleep" story is Lewis himself.

Then there's the perfect boyfriend himself, loyally standing by his woman. Is Lewis the truly forgiving type, or does he just want to get back into Caroline's good graces so that she forgives his philandering?

Don't even get me started on Andrew Brady. Anyone who saw him on CBB knows he's a vain fame whore and a user. He's an Apprentice reject, FFS. He'll say anything to stay relevant.
