This is what frustrates me. If this was the other way round and the female party was saying it didn't happen that way, everyone would say that they are just protecting the abuser. It's no different. Most people don't call the Police the first time something happens and if they do, they tend to retract allegations because they are being manipulated, and don't see the bigger picture long term. I get that couples argue, but Caroline's public response to this shows no remorse whatsoever, which seems odd and concerning to me. Just my opinion.

He is an embarrassing idiot. He rang the police and said she was trying to kill him. If that's not true, as he is now claiming, he should be charged himself with wasting police time. Of course it's true - the police will have solid evidence and proof, for the CPS to have got it to court. His embarrassing, cringey Instagram stories are just making her look even more grubby, tragic and pathetic!

If she went to cover to self harm, a turtle neck long sleeved top, with a nice tailored jacket and some black tailored trousers would be much more appropriate and not obvious. Most people who self harm will do anything to hide it and a apart of hiding it is wearing clothes which do not stand out as odd. Her whole court outfit isn't appropriate. Also we know that she had self harmed and I think speculating on the self harming is something which shouldn't be happening. Self harm is another sign of abusive/controling behaviour. Remember last year her ex phoned the police for a welfare check after an argument because she threatened to kill herself. This whole self harm thing is more than likely to be part of her manipulating. If she is a psychopath, sociopath or narcissistic then she will never kill herself and she will only harm herself to make people react a certain way.

I’m confused... is frequent sex a bad thing? My bad...I thought that years ago. Could never really put my finger on what I dislike about her. She comes across as being a complete slag who looks like she would jump into bed with anything that has a long enough dick. Her love for the younger man is a bit strange. It’s like she can’t get to grips with her age and the fact she has been left on the shelf, so constantly chasing after someone so much younger to make herself feel better maybe and less old!

I thought there would be restrictions on both of them given the severity of the allegations and the alleged evidence. He is making a mockery of the whole case. If he is victim he needs help for his own sake.
I can’t see it ending well for either of them. He May well be the love of her life and she maybe his, but going by past evidence of her behaviour with other men I doubt it. Take away the drama, age gap, the paps, the allegations what do you have? Two people who dated for 6 months or so? It’s not fucking Romeo and juliet or even a love story for the ages.
If you are having full blown barneys during the honeymoon period of your “relationship” that’s a massive red flag that neither of you need to be together.

Not denying she did anything wrong, but we haven’t seen the body cam footage and have no idea the incidents that led to this. I’m really not a fan of hers and am not defending her behaviour in anyway as I’m sure she has done wrong, but at the moment only a fraction of truth is out there
I can’t say I’m shocked. She was clearly a troubled soul going by her private life. Very sad for her family and friends.
I don’t think it’s love island. I think it’s social media and how so many people feel the need to live a lie. It wasn’t really a big thing in the big brother days.
