They made a bit on the cottage. They bought it for £382,00 and sold it for £485,00( the asking price was £499,00) but the new build was about £600,000
I've come over from another thread mentioning Cara must come from money with the houses they live in. I mean she's got to put new windows in this house and as someone who's having sash put in soon they aren't cheap and her windows are much bigger than mine!
I loved her cottage and this new house, it's got so much potential, it's the only reason I watch her. I'm not a massive fan of Cara herself, as many have said she loves herself a bit too much and isn't as funny as she thinks. Definitely not someone who seems approachable in person!

I think her husband comes from money. I think you only have to look at Cara or rather watch her approach to life and consumerism to know she probably doesn’t come from money.
It is true though that they have made some money through houses. I remember once she said something along the line of whilst their friends were partying ( in their twenties ) her and Si were buying home, renovating etc.
I’d say each to their own but their life does seem pretty dull ( renovating houses and watching Netflix)
You don’t see many days out, hardly any holidays or time with the friends. I think the holiday they’ve had in the past was a paid / sponsored one.
Don’t get me wrong I like my quieter life now but then I’m in my forties now. Me & my other half have seen the world and generally had so many experiences tougher as a couple.
Cara seems to live the life of a middle-aged person for all the years I have followed her ( don’t any more) And yes she might have a big house and renovate at a speed of light but I personally would never aspire to her life.
Also she alway seems down / depressed.
To be fair this has been my life in my 20s, I'm either renovating or restoring my cars. My boyfriend and I haven't been abroad in the 10 years we've been together and we rarely go on holiday as we aren't that interested in travel/can't afford to!
I think it just depends what kind of a person you are, we've never been the types to go out drinking and socialising, don't get me wrong we have friends but I'd rather stay at home at the ripe old age of 30
. But because of our lifestyle we are going to be a lot more comfortable financially in the future which is fine with me as all I want to do in my spare time is go out with my dog because he's my best mate 
.But your right, she doesn't seem particularly satisfied with her life, beautiful healthy kids, (seemingly) nice husband, lovely house.. All she does is moan about it all!
He would have to be really senior to be earning a 6 figure salary as a management consultant and usually people like that tend to be older than he is, so I highly doubt he’s earning that much. I mean, with both me and my husband’s salary combined, it equates to a 6 figure salary, but we still can’t afford to do the things to our house at the speed in which they are doing.
I also think it’s really sad that they never take the kids on holiday or staycations. Imagine being a kids and all your mum and dad is obsessed with is doing up a house and putting you into bed at 7pm! It’s not like they have the excuse of having no money to take them anywhere. We all know how enriching travel is.
Even the kids bedrooms are always ridiculously decorated, Definitely an adults perception of what child’s bedroom should look like.

For someone who does a lot of “interior designing” she wants to know if there are cheaper options for chest of drawers I dunno Cara you tell us? Your and all your insta chums are always doing up houses left right and centre ask them. Or were you being that obvious you were hoping for a company to reach out to you and gift you one

Not only that, she’s fickle and changes things so often. To me it just screams of someone who doesn’t seem very content.

I thought she was gone too. When you type her name in a search bar it doesn’t immediately appear.
It eventually showed further down but what was interesting was that it didn’t stay saved or showed in a search bar. So I don’t know what that’s all about. So she is around and you probably aren’t blocked but it’s just harder to find her.
I have no idea if that’s some intentional thing it just a random glitch.
