Looks like he was terminally ill
The familys story is that he couldn't have the jab because of pneumonia medication. So, let me get this straight, he flew to Barbados with pneumonia? Please tell me this isn't true!! Because the pneumonia could have been Covid.
I completely agree. All the very elderly I know dont even go out at the moment. Its sad that he passed over but his family should'nt have taken him to Barbados in the middle of a pandemic when the message was very clearly to stop at home.
I need a raised eyebrows emoji for thisWell the memorials have started.
I hope people don't include money like they did his birthday cards mind.
He had terminal cancer ,decided along with his doctors not to go down the treatment route. The familys story is that he couldn't have the jab because of pneumonia medication.
No way would he travel with pneumonia, I just can't see an airline allowing that. So it means he got it on his return, or yes.. he was being treated for pneumonia whilst waiting for a covid test.
Point is, if they had delayed the flight for a few weeks then he'd have had the jab. We all knew they were coming, maybe they missed that memo in amongst the free flight ones
I am so sorry lovely, I can only imagine the pain you have gone through. Absolutely no compassion.I want to know why he got family members around his bed when he was covid positive... my nanna had to die alone![]()
ironically I am the same, my local village on Thursday is holding a clapping fest for him.I’m getting invited to all sorts of rememberance, silence, clap and hero groups on Facebook. Decline. Decline. Decline.
He never spread covidYeah that’s better than raising 30milHe never broke rules. He never spread Covid from there to here or vice versa. If he hurt anyone it was himself. And I can’t see him being kidnapped to Barbados so wouldn’t think it’s the family’s fault either.
the family kept his illness quite until he required palliative care.I'm confused that people keep saying he didn't catch it from the holiday and didn't spread it to anyone. No one knows that stuff, it's not conclusive either way.
If someone was 90 and raised £50 from a raffle is that good enough to give them a free pass to go on holiday with their family during a pandemic when the advice was clearly only essential travel? It's a worrying precedent. You can't decide to let people you like flout the rules and only berate those that you dislike. That's madness.
Talking about him like he’s a lifelong pal.Michael Ball on the The One Show talking about his loss and how he has spoken to Hannah. Alex saying how close Michael was to him . So it begins.
