not content with manipulating the attack in london yesterday to seek attention and sympathy for herself, babs has continued to reference her experiences in posts and stories - her "experience" - which she describes simply as "weird" - and which existed simply because she was coincidentally heading home at the same time the attack was taking place, essentially involved being on a train which didn't stop at an evacuated station - a station that had no relation to babs' journey, as london bridge was not a station she needed to get off at. she had to change trains, which apparently caused her to panic, poor love. again, she's seeking sympathy for herself - the mention of the people actually directly impacted by the attack; the victims and their families; a mere afterthought in the form of a single sentence right at the end of her post. focusing on herself throughout, babs focuses on how, despite arriving home safely and entirely unaffected by the events, and due to the sheer effort of having to get onto a whole different train, she returned home and "had a little cry" and obvs "sniffed the kids" - the obvious reaction to a situation that was supposedly so traumatic, yet despite haven't impacted her in the slightest. she certainly knows how to obtain sympathetic and supportive comments however, regardless of how detached from a devastating situation she actually was. i am utterly disgusted that her mention of those truly impacted by the attack is so brief and easily skimmed over in endless paragraphs about her own personal experience.
worse still, however, babs further exploits the situation by using it as a prime opportunity to highlight her role of - emma, 41, ex-religious education teacher, degree in philosophy, specialism in islam; because oh, surprise! nobody saw that coming. her knowledge supposedly gives her the perfect opportunity to talk about her many mosque visits, all the muslims she knows and how the actions of "one psychopath" does not represent the beliefs of an entire religion - an accurate point - yet despite this, she still woke up feeling scared of the faith. hypocritical much? and whilst she makes a valid point, and this spiel may at first seem genuineuntil you realise that this is just classic babs manipulating a horrendous situation and making it all about her - the the fact she specialised in islam obvs being the perfect opportunity tor emind everyone that before her days spent sitting around wearing no pants and watching teen mom, choreographing humiliating dance routines she used to be a teacher! and she'll use any excuse to remind us of that, even if that involves exploiting situations where people lost their lives. she genuinely has no shame. yesterday, babs was scared - of what exactly, i'm not sure, since she was never anywhere near the incident - but any excuse to return home and sniff the kids, eh babs? yet luckily, she awoke today "thankful and ready to crack on" - literally thankful for what? that she was affected by an attack she's desperately attempting to make out affected her? it's like she believes she deserves a badge which reads "i was there!" well no emma, you weren't - and your ex-RE teacher background means absolutely nothing. this was not, and is not, about you, and the fact you're trying to claim it is makes you nothing but an utter disgrace.
babs' supposed concern for those affected by the the attacks in london seem somewhat disingenuous when in her stories, she certainly proves she is "cracking on" - one focusing on a pressing concern as to where they're going to store a ridiculously large jar of pretzels, plus a day spent out the house eating cakes and snacks and chips and garlic bread. all previous concern totally disappeared! and then, despite fact that despite poor lucy dog has just had her collar removed, babs can't leave the poor suffering animal alone to rest. she has to use her for her own amusement, and put her in a dress. the dog probably just wants to be left alone uetapparently, despite the fact she looks miserable, she's actually super happy. not sure how babs has reached that conclusion, unless she's secretly a dog whisperer, but why not at least have the heart to treat your dying dog like "the kween" you say she is, and leave her to chill and do what she wants. babs states regularly that lucy hates her - which is a fact that is clear to everyone including babs - so why not stop dressing her up, which she clearly hates, and put your pet's best interests first for once. selfish cow.
we are also treated to the knowledge that babs is wearing her pleather trousers for the fourth time this week, unwashed ofc, despite the sweat dripping down her legs each time. absolutely bleeping vile.
