She has a real stench of "morning after the night before" regret about her. We all know she used to have to do a ring-round the day after being out with friends to apologise for her embarrassing behaviour. I don't know how, as a 40something mum, wife etc, who once had a respectable career in teaching, she can honestly not sit and cringe herself inside out at some of the content she puts out there and the depths she is sinking to to keep this career alive- but she is addicted to the attention, and, like a child, doesn't distinguish between good and bad attention very well. All the fawning comments from the Babettes justify her actions to her- I bet after making Ste/Erin film yet another mortifying tiktok she jabs her finger at the number of likes, waving her phone under Ste's nose declaring "look!! They love me!!" (she's very MC Grindah- if anyone has seen People Just Do Nothing). I think what she is really ashamed about is that there are a group of people, whether on here or in her actual life, who see through her act. She doesnt appear to have a lot of friends, she doesnt appear very happy, she is directionless with children well out of the marketable bracket for "mummy bloggers" but has failed to transition her content to suit. She has an unusual relationship with her husband, watches too much TV and eats too much crap, she claims confidence but appears very very insecure. The biggest give away is her frequent lists of achievements and reasons she is great- she does it to reassure herself. Really confident and successful people dont need to do this. If, as she once mentioned, family and friends have begged her to step away from instagram, maybe it's time to listen to them.
I think she needs to look into what Brene Brown has to say about shame and vulnerability. It might actually be those feelings around shame and 'not good enough' that sit at the heart of her emotional struggles. My advice would be to start with watching the TED talks Emma, and then have a look at Brene's books and then listen to some of her 'Unlocking Us' podcasts.
ETA: and stay away from social media until you've got it figured out in your head!
She definitely needs to take time out and work with people to develope a strategy of she really wants to keep this going. Shd would also benefit massively from some media training to improve her #ads and her delivery. She gabbles a script, and left to her own devices might as well say "I font really know what this is- but buy it!!"
