Qualified nurses are equally as competent as qualified midwives in terms of advice and treatment.
HVs aren’t qualified midwives. Some might happen to be but that’s not the same. Like if MOD needs to get a new job now.
However it is totally irresponsible to tell strangers on the internet to ignore a health practitioner’s advice

Some lady off of the internet told us to and we all know we’re all sick of experts now anyway don’t we?Health visitors are qualified and registered nurses or midwives who have chosen to gain additional training and qualifications as specialist community public health nurses (SCPHN - HV). Their additional training in public health enables them to assess the health needs of individuals, families and the wider community to promote good health and prevent illness.

It’s culturally insensitive as a phrase that has been hijacked from Native Americans by white people. Like white people wearing Native American headdresses, Indian bindis, African protective hairstyles like corn rows or braids. It’s taking a culture and concept from a minority group and bringing it into the mainstream when it isn’t yours to take or use.please excuse My ignorance but why is that I did google and can’t see anything
