I thought I'd seen the Damon and Debbie series, but didn't remember any of it, blimey it didn't half drag on and really wasn't that good.

When the policeman headed to Sheilas, her face said everything, there was no need to see him telling her about Damon, great acting.
I never liked Doreen first time around, but I'm going to miss her now!
Good episodes this week!

That scene where Sheila was in the window really stuck in my head and I was only a kid when I watched it!

Also the start of a storyline when she was comforting Billy...

Karen is annoying isnt she. I vaguely remembered her being like that. I feel the teenager thing is overacted. The eye rolls etc.

I think the actress who played Karen was about 20 yrs old at the time.

I’ve got the last couple of weeks episodes to catch up on. Already I miss Harry, he’s so funny. I remember as a teen being annoyed by Harry but now I’m old I love him Sheila is really annoying now and I don’t think her a Billy go together well. It shows the writers were desperate for a story line when Bobby went.

I think that’s why I lost track of Brookside in the mid to later 80s. I missed Harry and Ralph - and Sheila and Bobby getting together, seemed a bit daft really.

I did wonder what they ( The Farnhams)thought of the next door neighbours having the biggest ever argument ,it must have been heard all over the close!
Terry telling Sue he hopes she gets AIDS was absolutely shocking,
I'm so pleased that Tracey put Sheila in her place though, I understand why she was upset, but again, her beliefs do not mean others have to live by them.
The Rodgers had another good week, poignant storyline with Frank and Katie.

Things liven up again now with the new families after treading water for a while.

I'm not sure it's soon but it was their first sensationalist storyline to compete with the other serials...taking it out of the gritty, Northern reality and into soapland.

Well there was just not the close, as Mick and Gemma Johnson were a big part of the 10pm and Jacqui Dixon's Daughter Esme was in the teen storyline

I haven't watched Hollyoaks for years, I've no idea of their stories! Only watched this week because some of the old cast were back.

I kept shouting "Blimey Terry'. Really great acting and though I know it's obviously a character it also shows how any amiable man can have another side to them. By that I'm referring to when it's discovered that a woman has been suffering from DV and people can barely believe it.
