Brookside is back!

[Maid22]

Jamie, Tracey’s boyfriend, has his last scene in this week’s batch of episodes. The scene where he’s eating the trifle and Tracey throws the trifle bowl at him was his last episode

According to a thread on DS, he left due to a dispute over a jumper

Blimey! What a shame, I was getting to really like him! Alot better actor than some on there!

[kendallroysdownfall]

Jesus Barry, calm down mate. What the hell went on in that freezer to make you so angry?

[Maid22]

That ending when Sheila was just about to tell Terry something, I had to Google, I'd totally forgotten about that!!!

[minnieminx88]

Sky is still downloading my latest episode “sheila feels guilty over matty”
Its at 158% and still wont play.
Ive missed so many episodes because they get lost in the sky + black hole.

[MumtoKE]

Yes they were uploaded on Wednesday as normal. They’ve split them into series now so look for Series 2 & Series 3

The latest ones are the tail end of Series 2 and the 1st one in Series 3 so the ones you need are:

S2: E91 - E94 and S3: E95

Thank you , for some reason I don't have series 3 on there but its probably hiding somewhere

[Maid22]

That was a better week!
Ron looking out for his mate, DDs secret, I don't remember that at all
Nit gate!!
Drunk Sammy
Geoff's off to Torquay
Creepy Barry
And Susannah, I loved her !!
Jimmy meh.

[RocksOff]

Oooh I can't find this week's episodes on sky
And I can't log in to to STV app as I've forgotten my password
Has anyone else had this?
I'm desperate to see this fight

[Maid22]

Oh poor Katy

[Maid22]

It had to be Ron who caught Max with Susannah!!

[RocksOff]

Yes, I did mean to mention the new Katie, She is an improvement no doubt, and I remember things do get interesting with Sammy later on, but the parents just drive me mad, it's like they can't seem to have a normal conversation without shouting
And I know Barry shouts a lot, but he gets a pass
1 He's an interesting character and has some great storylines
2 I had a massive crush on him (.Still do)

[cryptix]

What year are we at peeps please?

[Cupid_Stunt]

I liked when Suzanne lost her kids in a carcrash! So sad!

“Liked” is probably the wrong word to use but yes that was so harrowing and very brave for a soap to kill off both of a character’s children

[Maid22]

Loving Susannah winding up Pat!!
Shame that's the end of Bumper, I liked him, one of the better young ones!!

[AdsB]

I walked past a pond in the woods with a big drain pipe yesterday. Reminded me of Anthony drowning his bully

[Beverley macca]

Oct 97. Princess Diana's death has been mentioned. I don't know how to put spoilers in case anyone hasn't previously seen any Brookside. Mick Elaine story coming to the end now.

[Beverley macca]

I just found this thread. I live outside the UK. I'm gutted I cant watch these re-runs. The best soap by a country mile. God I loved Barry Grant back in the day.

[Beverley macca]

You aren’t far off the show going really crazy

Yep. Some say it was the start of the end

[RocksOff]

What I've seen of the final year make me shudder. The show really did get run into the ground.

True, very sad to what it had been

[AdsB]

I'm.not sure when they altered to the 3 nights?

early 90s I think. The same time they added the Parade set.

[cryptix]

Havent seem 10pm one felt everything was rushed tbh.i take it sheila bought s house back on the close?
