I couldn’t get the latest 5 on sky either, I’ve found it rubbish. Some weeks they are there sometimes they take days. I got them today through the STV app on the tv but you can’t FF the ads 😭
I watch via the app and have noticed there's soo many ads!

I think I have joined you guys, I watched 5 episodes this morning and I'm up to the most current one.

I enjoyed it, we're still quite far off from my era, as I was only a kid and can only remember 1995 onwards. But with the Farnhams and Johnsons we've got characters I remember.

The second theme tune must be soon, that's the one I remember.

I am watching every episode - and am still finding the Alan Partridge character quite ridiculous.
I felt exactly the same when I watched it first time, around 40 years ago!

Damon’s girlfriend being called Pat. This didn’t seem that odd back then (though Patricia’s that I went to school with - were usually shortened to Trish).
Pat seems such an old name for a teenager 😆

Do you remember the hostage situation that went on? I remember thinking how far fetched that was 😂
I tuned back in for that couple of weeks. Then it ended in the helicopter crash (on the parade of course 😂). The last big storyline before it lost it's weekday time slots and got dumped on Saturday afternoons.

Did anybody notice Claire Sweeney was in the fifth episode this week?

She was playing a character called Paula, who was the girlfriend of Damon’s mate Mark. Damon got them to babysit his little sister for him whilst he went out

Pretty boring drop this week and I could genuinely ring Chrissie's neck the way she acts in school around Geoff.

Some great comic relief though with the return of Julia and all her friends in need of a haircut...

I’ve just picked it back up again and it’s New Year’s Eve where sammy is baby sitting. I think I’ve got a fair few episodes til I’m caught up. I can’t wait for the jordaches! Anyway, why do they all stand and wave at the end? I don’t remember that haha

Iv just got to episode 2 now thanks to this thread, my mum used to watch Brookie and I watched back in the later years (I was born 91)
Im comparing Roger to my next door neighbour (always looking out the window watching what neighbours are doing and what everyones up to!)
Love seeing the old cars and styles of homes/fashions.
Keep watching, a few storylines & characters start to emerge in these first 10 episodes.
The picture quality begins to get a bit better too.

Aww thank you @Maid22
I did a lot of hours last week, but the weekend off, woo hoo!
I hope that you are keeping well

I will try and catch up on this weeks episodes, always liked Geoff, much more than Tony and his boring storylines
I'm good thanks hope you are to x
Yes if you get time, this week's were better, you've really not missed much before, I'm actually struggling to catch up! I'm still missing Billy and Sheila, the Collins and even grumpy Harold 😂

Annabelle's affair absolutely thrilled me. Paul's treated her like shit for years. I remember meeting the actress at a local lifeboat day not long before she passed away and she was a lovely lady.

Was there some sort of Brookie/Neighbours mash up towards the end of the final shows? Seem to remember that being a thing, maybe that's why Madge was there?
I didn't watch towards the end, so will be good to catch those episodes.
If Madge/Anne Charleston was talking about some young girl wanting to leave Neighbours to start a pop career (Kylie), then that would have been around 1987/88 just before her pop career started, not at the end of Brookie’s run

That was worth the wait, apart from the choi's, Michael is interesting, his girl friend moves her mouth/ jaw in a funny way and it really distracts me but on the whole, much better episodes and so good to have Barry back

I am! Up in the frozen north. I used to watch River City religiously but I haven’t seen it in years (if it’s even still on). That was a cracking soap!
I've never seen River City, used to watch Take the high road, Mrs Mack used to scare me!
