The Chois and the Rogers are dreadful.
Love the scenes between Sheila and Billy!! Glad Rod and Tracy have accepted them now!
That house is the most interesting to see at the moment
I think by this time on the original run I had a busy social life as there are lots of gaps for me, and to be honest, it is a bit boring, so probably didn't prioritise watching

I started watching from episode one, when STV starting repeating Brookside. I stopped when Heather left the close, as I was previously building up to my all time favourite storyline (Heather marrying Nick / his heroin addiction).
As that storyline closed I stopped watching, with the intention of picking it up again, but I didn’t feel inspired to - as some dull storylines were coming up. Also, the boring couple and then a new family who were really annoying (forgotten their names).

I will get back into it (or try) at some point soon.

Also they are apparently filming on the close but it was demolished in the Brookside universe? I'm so confused 😂.
Me to!! Haven't watched Hollyoaks for years, do remember the actress who played Jackie Dixon was in Hollyoaks, the constant sighing used to get on my nerves!!

Yes I agree about the exits, very low key, at least nowadays most of them say bye and leave in a taxi!!

Another meh week!
Sue is awful, blimey Johnathon knocked off £10,000 but she's still moaning, then in the next bit, Terry offers to buy her a load of clothes!
I vaguely remember DD's brother Derek, wasn't he a vicar or a priest?
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought that! It was a bit naff of him to give a so little notice with regards to her work but what he was offering in terms of the house was like a silver platter!

I watch on youtube. I had to forward about 10 years tbh 🤣 I did watch all episodes back in the day. Love it. I'm watching right this very moment. December 1999.
You’ve watch 2 years worth since we last interacted! I think I stopped watching around December 1999 originally. Well until I dipped back in for some of the bullying plot and the siege/helicopter crash.

So sad to see the death of Dean Sullivan (I saw it on a Brookie Insta page and they were saying they’d posted ‘prematurely’ took it and then put it back up again). Jimmy Corkhill was such a memorable character.

Love this photo

I get fed up when people mess with theme tunes. There's a podcast I've followed for a couple of years (ironically from Liverpool) and they've unnecessarily changed the theme tune. Now I'll find it really hard to listen to the content because the ambience isn't right 😂

STV Player are showing 10 episodes per week, I think they are available from a Tues or Wed.
You can watch all 10 in one sitting.
I'm no techie but I think there are nearly 3,000 episodes of Brookside, and putting all those on their Player, available all at the same time, just wouldn't be possible.
Thank you, I quite like that 10 episodes in one go!!!

He was wealthy but a control freak, with a funny mouth. Feel a bit sorry for Heather, that she didn’t actually meet anyone decent, although at least Nick made her laugh.
He did have a funny mouth come to think of it. Yeah I've grown to like Heather, although I don't like her laugh.

I'm on 1986 now. Episode 350. Looks like there are some juicy storylines coming up...

I thought I'd seen the Damon and Debbie series, but didn't remember any of it, blimey it didn't half drag on and really wasn't that good.

When the policeman headed to Sheilas, her face said everything, there was no need to see him telling her about Damon, great acting.
I never liked Doreen first time around, but I'm going to miss her now!
Good episodes this week!
That scene where Sheila was in the window really stuck in my head and I was only a kid when I watched it!

Also the start of a storyline when she was comforting Billy...
