I think we should give this a chance. Boris said it would create jobs so let's see what they are. We've also secured 76 deals already with other countries, which is great. Boris sounded very upbeat today, and before anyone poo poos what he's done we need to give him chance to prove himself.

As for Keir criticising. I agree with other posters who say he does this without giving any ideas as to what he would have done instead.

I'm happy today. I'm giving things a chance and I will not criticise until there are any slip ups.

I'm not lumping it all on Labour. But they certainly do share part of the blame and I think some of those could have better represented the views of their constituency's and ended the uncertainty years ago if they truly wanted the best for the country.

To be honest no one is coming out of this well.

The thing is they don't. Theresa May needed their votes and I can tell you that election was the first time many adults in England had even heard of the DUP or heard of NI in general since the troubles. Boris has a solid majority and doesn't give a shit about a handful of unionist votes.

Abolishing this tax (or even introducing it) has and had nothing to do with the EU.

The vaccines... As said, there is a massive anti-vaxx sentiment worldwide and even many of those who are pro-vax aren't keen on being "first in line".
Yes, the EU should have ordered more vaccines, but had Britain never left, Britain could have ordered as many as they wished regardless.
Britain went its own way whilst being part of the EU and did what Britain wanted ever since entry. Would've been nothing new.

Britain rushed the vaccine through and was what, one week, two weeks tops ahead of the EU and why? Because Boris wanted some positive press. Please.

Considering the population (everywhere) it'll take until summer to vaccinate those in need first, before others are let in line. Britain being "ahead" one or two weeks isn't changing anything, except additional data others could work with to see potential adverse effects immediately after the jab and some short-lived positive PR for Boris and for the "we are better than everyone else, esp the evil EU" sentiment to grow.

Till summer the situation won't change. It will likely even get worse, esp because of holidays (Xmas, NYE, skiing etc).

The misinformation about the EU is staggering. The whole leaving the EU movement and their lies have been really just.. I have literally no words.

I never understand the mentality of Unionists in ulster. The Tories have shafted them time after time, yet they still prefer them to Labour.....

It's really quite frightening that a small group of very strong loyalists cannot see beyond their narrow mindedness to the huge benefits that will come to their country (NI) by being members of both the UK and the EU.

BTW Poots, apparently, believes that the world was created only 6000 years ago - how do you argue with stupid?

I’m still planning on leaving this shithole country one day. If I have to take citizenship/residency of another state then so be it.

The next NI elections will be interesting. DUP 'may' end up in 3rd place. Poots is trying dogwhistle policies to try to stop their voters going to the Alliance party or the Ulster Unionists.
