It was limited before. The UK wasn't in Schengen.

i ordered a treadmill from Nordic track and they cancelled my order yesterday because I’m in Northern Ireland. Tried to order through John Lewis and same thing happened



I thought it was only open to people who were born here or whose parents were born here ... I’m originally from England but I’d love to get Irish citizenship

No it wasnt? Im referring to the 90 day rule. Being EU means zero restrictions. Ireland for example are not in Schengen but are not subject to time restrictions.

No that's not right at all. The EU allowed visa free travel between countries. It certainly still had restrictions! After 90 days/3months EU members visiting another EU country usually had to register.

So far we are a million miles ahead of the EU with vaccinations and been able to stop sanitry products being taxed as non essential, so that's a couple of positives of Brexit already.

Also, we haven't done the same amount of testing and peer review. That may be a good decision, or a bad decision if any side-effects become clear.

This is fascinating reading german papers and the comments that are saying the covid vaccine is a benefit of less bureaucracy

No matter what side you're on there are benefits to be had, whether they can be relized realised is another question all together!

I think this would be the German alternative to the times if you had to match it with a British paper

Sorry I am not sure I get your point Despite the numerous vaccinated people (I heard it really makes a difference when 70% of the population is vaccinated), the UK is not doing well at all regarding covid unfortunately.

Even if they got independent, they couldn't enter the EU so easily. There are conditions and it takes a lot of time.
