Hello! Lurker here who has finally decided to join the chat. I finished an accounting qualification in December so I'm excited to be able to get back into reading books that aren't coursebooks
I am reading This Is London by Ben Judah, which is really getting up close to illegal immigration in London and the horrible treatment and exploitation of these people. I think it's pre-2016 so I'd be interested in a post-Brexit update of how this has affected attitudes (for the worse I would imagine).
I have My Salinger Year for after I have finished which I'm hoping will be somewhat cheerier.
Would like to get more into using the library but I hate having a set time to finish a book which is why I never got into book clubs
