I don’t want to say that I think it peaked with Oh, William but… one is based during the pandemic and I hated it but I hate anything pandemic related, the last is Lucy AND Olive and is a treat.

So after I categorised my books on Kindle following our discussion the other day, I managed to work out that I had 60 unread books, including Unlimited.

I thought that wasn't too bad, all things considered, and I could tackle them in a reasonable period of time.

So, obviously I've just bought 4 more 🥴

I started The Family Friend by Claire Douglas on Tuesday, had a laparoscopy on that day so I now have some valuable time off to recover and read.

I've not got that far into it, but christ I cannot stand her irritating twot of a boyfriend.
Ugh i have got this recently and it's on my tbr, will be interested to hear how you get on with it!

my July reads.
Book Lovers by Emily Henry - 4/5.
The Someday Garden by Ashley Poston - 3/5
Or Else by Joe Hart - 2/5
Signal Moon by Kate Quinn - 2/5
Family Money by Chad Zunker (was there ever a more American name?) - 1/5
Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano - 4/5 (yes I started it Wednesday evening and finished it about fifteen minutes ago).

that was a nice read, it just flowed so easily

six books for the month, three from the 99p deals and three older kindle ones. Current unread now stands at 11, albeit one I can’t read yet til the previous book in the series is on a deal.

A while back we were talking about the Rob Rinder books. I finished The Protest last night and it felt really unsatisfying compared to the previous 2. I then started the next one on audio because they are a bit of a switch off when I’m walking, and literally in the prologue the formula seems to repeat again!

Also a couple of decent Daily Deals today including The Calamity Club by Kathryn Stockett and John of John by Douglas Stuart.

Nothing has immediately grabbed me. Business casual is the book 4 of 4 I have and I need to read 3 first but it’ll annoy me to pay 4.99 for it!

Any Kate Atkinson fans able to offer an opinion on Transcription? Reviews seem mixed.
