looking for a few book recs! i’ve only recently gotten into reading and have only finished “every summer after” by carley fortune. i’m gonna try some of her other books because they are all supposed to be brill apparently.

but i’m looking for a book that’s a romance, summery or autumn vibe?, not too long (i have got the concentration of a hyper squirrel), don’t mind a bit of slow burn as long as it’s worth it and won’t shatter my heart into a million pieces

The Mitford Girls is one of my favourite non-fiction books/biographies. Jessica's downward mobility and the losses in her life . Unity was quite tragic too,. Only Debo and Pam seem almost normal

Does anyone else find Kindle daily deal is really crap recently? There’s used to be a fair amount that I thought was a good deal even if it’s not for me, but it seems pretty crap at the moment. Everything today is already on Unlimited.

The Mitford Girls is one of my favourite non-fiction books/biographies. Jessica's downward mobility and the losses in her life . Unity was quite tragic too,. Only Debo and Pam seem almost normal

Jessica did suffer terrible losses but she lived a very full life and forged an impressive career. She was lucky to have two very happy marriages, even if the first ended so tragically.

It's very hard to sympathise with Unity considering what she did, but she was pretty clearly mentally ill, in my opinion.

Yes its been rubbish lately. I used ro buy a fair few but now theres nothing to buy. Loads of self help books or cooking books though
