I tried listening to an audiobook of Game Changers yesterday but it’s a DNF from me. The narrator is awful. Back to the library with that one.

Finished Don't Let Him In by Lisa Jewell. A proper page turner and one of her best. Highly recommend.

Anyone read Ladder To The Sky, John Boyne. I’m a fair bit into the book but am struggling to keep going. I usually adore John Boyne but I’m finding this a chore. Most reviews are so positive.

I’m reading Entitled about the Duke and Duchess of York - it’s not a particularly well written book but it is making me want to live in a republic.

I can’t read John Boyne knowing what I now know about him.

I finished Stoner yesterday, I can’t say I enjoyed it but I’m glad I read it. Very effective and affective writing.

Starting Heart the Lover today and very excited ❤

Understandable, they’re a properly unlikeable pair! Even before the revelations of the last few years. So undeserving of all the privileges they’ve had.

I’ve been in a book slump for ages now. It’s not that I don’t have an array of things I want to read either. Just haven’t been in the right mood I guess.

They are truly dreadful. I used to quite like Sarah, she was bubbly and a bit bonkers, but she is as greedy and corrupt and as much of a liar as him.

It’s just shocking the amounts of money involved and how entitled they are - hence the book title 🙄🙈

but it is so badly written - just feels like a list of all their indiscretions with no real narrative

now starting Thinking On My Feet by Kate Humble which I’ve danced a few times on a kindle deal but saw it in the library last time I was In
