When I’ve bought a buy one get one half price in Waterstones and it’s £15 it takes me a minute to realise that it’s correct.The fact that I nearly choked on my drink at £12.99 for a paperback shows how out of touch I am with buying physical books

I only buy from charity shops or second hand books. I have a list that I am looking for and my theory is that the universe will provide. In the meantime my TBR pile is huge anyway so if it takes a little time I have a stash and am a sucker for £1 kindle deals so can work through those too!!!
I will confess I bought a book yesterday. I really wanted to wait for the paperback to come out but it’s not til August and I can’t wait that long. I finished A Language of Dragons and within about 20 minutes I was checking out the sequel

My library seems to have come into some money I think.
We've had the normal big drop of books and now we've got another big drop straight after - I recognise at least some of them, and they're old books! I snaffled The Three Musketeers as I thought someone on here might have recommended it. Also The Seven Dials Mystery. I don't think I've read it, although people who've watched the recent drama on TV about it did say they thought it was "crap".

I know this is not strictly books but I was directed towards this because of my interest in Julian which I found interesting, and he does write books! 
I then went on to watch the one where Diana's brother was being interviewed and I was hooked.
He said he never slagged off the Royal family in his funeral speech, it was twisted by the media who omitted the slagging off about them in the speech when they twisted it towards the Royal family.

I have a reading problem.
I finished my current read last night but none of my mammoth TBR are appealing and the book I really want to start isn’t being delivered until tomorrow.. do I just stare at a wall until it arrives?
