I’ve got A Heart for Christmas and Xmas Break downloaded ready to do as advent calendars. I took advantage of the 99p offer for A Heart for Christmas and the KU version of Xmas Break. I throughly enjoyed doing the read along last year and can’t wait to do it again this year!How many of you fellow book lovers are gonna be reading the “A Heart for Christmas” advent book?

aw i was going to try it next after also loving midnight soil! i’ve heard mixed things though so you’re just confirming those.After reading and loving bury our bones in the midnight soil by VE Schwab, I was looking forward to reading Addie La rue ( after having it on my TBR for years) but i’m not really enjoying it! i’m going to slam dunk it into my tesco donation bag from a great height but even then i feel like i should put a warning message in the front cover for whoever might pick it up.

I’ve started In Memoriam this week for a book club. I’m only 50 or so pages in but I’m really not in the mood for it. I want to be reading Christmas fluff and cosy mysteries
i love in memoriam with EVERY FIBRE OF MY SOUL but agree it’s not the right book for this time of year. give it a chance next year 🥲
