Has anyone read You and Me on Vacation by Emily Henry?

It’s on my bookcase (along with at least 200 other unread books 🥲) I gave up with Beach Read, I just couldn’t get in to it. Wondering if this one is any better?
I found it quite similar to Beach Read. I did like both books though.

disliked the beach read, found it very hard to get into.

loved the idea of YAMOV and it wasn’t awful but not as good as I hoped either 😕 sorry 🙈

it's all too easy to buy books on my Kindle! I must have bought about 8 books in 2 days (despite having so many actual books on my overflowing bookcase to read).

Currently reading The Hate U Give. It's a little different to what I would usually read.

Hi all! Schools went back here today so Ive been busy prepping recently and not been doing much reading. Im reading 'the receptionist' atm which I got on Amazon 1st reads. Its not jumping out at me atm but it was free so cant complain.

I started listening to the Trevor Noah autobiography on Audible Born a Crime and omg it is fantastic. The naration is spot on. Its v funny but covers some quite serious stuff.

Anyway I dropped in to ask if anyone has read these? Someone I follow on Insta has really rated them. I think its a 3 part series. The 2nd one is only 2.99 on kindle atm but the 1st 5.99 which is a bit steep for me.

Just bought ‘The Appeal’ by a Janice Hallett from Sainsbury’s, looks an interesting read! I love mysteries so right up my street. Going to read it next I think 🤩

I loved Bear Town. One of my fave books of the year! I had quite low expectations when I realised it was about hockey as I'm not really into sport (bought it on a whim when it was 99p), but really enjoyed it. The sequel is good too, not as good as the first but I still enjoyed it. :giggle: Maybe put it on your wish list and hopefully the price will go down as I have seen them for 99p a few times.

Yes Ive stuck both on my list. Interesting you say you preferred the 1st to the 2nd. The person I follow on Insta said the 1st was quite slow compared to the 2nd. Im interested to read it anyway. It does seem like my type of book from her review.

Ooh just checked my list there and got Will Dean - The Last Thing To Burn for 99p.

I did really like the second one too so not a bad review of it, just not quite as much as the first. I'm excited to hear that there will be a third! I can't find a release date online but hopefully it will be out soon.

Currently reading Jess Phillips book about being an MP, bought it brand new from a daunt books (they have opened next to my old work) would have been dangerous for my bank balance if i still worked in that area. Enjoyable but not too much I don’t know already, the cover of the actual book is purple and I rate that, I always love when hardbacks go for something funky under the jacket

I got this and it’s in my TBR, looks great and has been so highly rated!

I havr zero interest in reading anything Jess Phillps writes but Honourable Friends by Caroline Lucas was quite an interesting read into the workings of Westminster.

I've read Bear Town, really enjoyed it, the hockey is more like the staging rather than what the book is about.

Yeah I have! I quite enjoyed it
It looked like a really wholesome plot idea, and I run myself, so I'm keen to start it!

Currently reading The Spanish Love Deception on Kindle; described as a "poor man's The Hating Game" (which I've yet to read) - I love the concept but it just doesn't feel well-written to me?

I started reading the couple next door last night and am on page 222 already. Just the kind of read I was needing to far out of my slump
