Very late to the party but I’m currently reading Everything I Know About Love and loving it. For any late twenties/early thirties gals, I honestly feel like I’m reading my own memoir at times. Hilarious too

I've just finished reading it today and I loved it! I started off disliking her, but as the story went on found myself really warming to her.
I gave it 5/5 really enjoyed it and wish I hadn't read it so quickly! Now to the hard decision of what to read next.

I absolutely loved Eleonor Oliphant ..
I haven’t read anything since that’s spoken to me in quite the same way. Funny how some books just get you like that.
Am currently reading A Room With A View but finding it one of those where I struggle to lick it up again once I’ve put it down!

I've been in a reading slump the past 10 days or so. I've spent so much time doom scrolling. Last night I started The Crimson Moth by Kristen Ciccarelli and I am hooked. I am around 30% of the way through and I just saw that the second book in that series is coming out this week.

I'm going to uninstall instagram and tik tok to try and get back to reading more.

The second one literally just appeared on my doormat!
I pre-ordered it last time Harper Collins had a 50% off and forgot it was coming out this week - so nice surprise from my past self!

I read it in 2020 so my recollection of the details is dusty, but I gave it five stars! I remember finding it charming and engaging in a totally unexpected way. Got me in the feels quite randomly.

@twilightgarden picked the letter K for me in my "alphabet selection" process of reading through the books that are left on my Kindle. That book was Katherine of Aragon by Philippa Gregory as part of her Six Wives of Henry VIII series. I know her books aren't always the most factually accurate, but I'm not reading it for a historical fact checking tome, just as a story. I enjoyed it. I can always get myself lost in being at court and hanging out with these people!

Then because of Denzil Meyrick's death I went back and read all of his DCI Daley books. I think there are ten in total. I am yet to find a better detective series. 4* and well worth a read if you like that genre.

Anybody like to pick a letter for my next Kindle read?
