Ooh I listened to Josie Silvers one night on the island and hated the male narrator so much it put me off. The book was gorgeous though

I like Boris but not read his memoir yet. I think it's the way he speaks puts me off in case the memoir is written in that flowery way he speaks!

Also there are some huge mic drop reveals and the tandem read works really well with them when it’s stuck to properly!

Not sure what I’m going to do with myself when I finish it!

I haven't got that far yet but was the tandem read thing designed that way by the author, or is this something fans have discovered and recommend? I'm fascinated as to how the tandem read thing came about.

Ok so I ended up ordering ACOTAR for some strange reason and I can’t get over the sheer cringe. Does it ever go away?
The descriptive language used throughout is brilliant so far

Has anyone read the Legacy series by Melissa roehrich?

I’m on the third book and I’m interested in where it is going but I can’t stand the FMC or one of the MMc’s 😭

i know i tried with one that wasnt the obvious but apparently it was.

my problem is i think i know too many books cos i am trying to be smart and clever like typing Even Cowgirls Get the Blues for the cowgirls.. - still dk what that is

I really struggled with this one, after seeing all the good reviews for it. I just couldn’t get into it!

I just started it on audiobook this morning. Maybe not a good one for someone so easily distracted as my mind keeps wandering

not me i dont see the point. I don't see the need for anyone to replace tech unless its broken or totally obsolete - in the interests o sustainability. Not knocking folks you do you , thats just my feelings on the matter and i can't blame people wanting an upgrade from 6th gen for example. Mines 10th and suits me fine.. i dont read a lot of manga or graphic novels etc and can;t see what having colours would bring in benefits for me.. It's a case of minor additions to make you feel like you are missing out if you dont get the new one that add basically nothing.

Like I just don't get the Scribe. I'm not in Uni anymore and even when I was studying lit I didnt write in the actual books themselves. my 10th Gen paperwhite probably have a ton of features I never use including some i don't know about. I have never used the Wiki or notes or highlights etc..

I was exactly the same, I found it so confusing and that spoiled it for me as it felt like too much effort to follow.
