October reads
Not much this month as it took me 84 years to trawl through A Thousand Boy Kisses
I’m also listening to Rewitched on audible and Deathly Hallows on BorrowBox I swear I have undiagnosed ADHD I need to finish things before I start another.
Anyway
A Thousand Boy Kisses 2.5 don’t know if I’m going to bother with the second one
A Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches - All the pumpkins adored it!
and a reread of Small Things Like These - 5 loved it more the send time round

I’ve got a few lined up with the kindle deals and going to treat myself to In Memoriam after @LaBlonde glowing review as it’s my birthday month

8 for me this month, favourite reads were Prima Facie by Suzie Miller and Home Truths by Charity Norman. Now reading Shy Creatures by Clare Chambers which I'm loving! Least favourite was Sociopath A Memoir which I did not like one little bit but forced myself to finish.

That's my books for October. Also currently about 60% in through 'Under Your Spell' by Laura wood which I think someone recommended here? Enjoying is as an easy read and actually finding it quite funny.

This was actually a pretty good reading month for me both in terms of quantity and quality

September reads - but not finished the Granny book yet. Bit of a variety this month with my interest in learning more about autism - and how to clean and cook effectively, (bearing in mind my mother seemed to have the idea I would automatically know how to do these things with me being born female).
My admiration for the Queen has taken a bit of a bashing after reading Craig Brown's book about her.

And at the moment I'm reading The Sun Sister and My Vampire Plus-One but haven't read much the last few days because I have been obsessed with Taskmaster and have watched 3 series in the last 4 days.

My September reads! I also read about 40 percent of the next Mrs Parrish but it was a DNF! I’m currently about 50 percent through redeeming 6

My October reads. A good month numbers wise thanks to a couple of long haul flights and plenty of time on a sun lounger!

Last Devil to Die and Funny Story were probably my favourites, both perfect easy beach reads. The Rob Rinder was also a good holiday read but not as enjoyable as the other two.

The Winners was great for the first and last thirds but I felt it really dragged in the middle. *runs for cover from the Backman fans*

The Marriage Portrait and The Love Letter were both ok, but not my favourite from either author.

Finally Frankenstein was a quick one to fit another book in before the end of the month, plus my nod to Halloween!

I just got a cute wee book from the free library trolley at work.

I like books with lovable characters, I also like thrillers. I’ll read most things, not fussy at all but I need to be in the right mood for something

I love the term fly and flop! …and really want to go on a fly and flop holiday!

Honestly it's the best haha

I work hard all year, when I holiday I don't always want to be out exploring etc. A week in the sun with no decisions more stressful than what cocktail I'm going to drink or what book I will read next are good for the soul.

finally reading in memoriam and it is chipping away at my heart like a tiny pick axe what an absolutely gorgeous book that is almost certainly rushing to my top five of the year list.

Following the Stephen King chat on, my absolute favourite is Misery. Such a good book - the characters are so well written and the storyline is gripping from page one.

Honourable mentions for me go to Carrie (the first SK I ever read), The Green Mile, The Boy Who Loved Tom Gordon, The Long Walk and Cell (just don’t bother with the film version).
