The paperback of Run Rose Run by Dolly Parton and James Patterson has finally been released - I picked it up last night in Sainsburys and am already a third of the way through and really enjoying it. I waited for the paperback as I want to pass it on to my sister who's a big Dolly Parton fan so resisted the kindle deal last year so been really looking forward to it and glad its living up to my expectations so far.

Okay so icebreaker definitely got me out of my slump I’m 3/4 of the way through already! Nath Hawkins is the best book boyfriend everrrrr. Aaron is a gob and I dislike him very very very much

love her and her books. finished the housemaids secret late last night, might re read some bits of it but not sure what to pick up next. This week feels quite overwhelming which is what puts me in danger of losing focus.

Me too. I’ve been listening to her books and Jane Fallon at the moment. Love them both. But Dawn, yes I love her, as a person too. I bought two of her dresses (in the sale) yesterday.
Hope you manage to overcome whatever is overwhelming you. Sending love and easy enjoyable reads.

I’ve started Queenie on audiobook from Borrowbox - it’s not something I’d normally pick but I’m enjoying it. I needed a Q for my A-Z challenge and this is ticking the box.

I’m listening to the audio version of James Bulger’s story, I Let Him Go. It’s told, but not narrated by his mum. I thought it’d be a hard listen and it obviously is, but also so well put together.

I was so close to buying icebreaker when I popped into Sainsburys on my lunch but I resisted at the last minute. Now you've tempted me to go back after work and grab it 😄

Thanks to whoever suggested Mythos in the thread. Ordered it on kindle earlier and not been able to put it down since. Fascinating and so easy to read.

I used to love her but I’ve gone off her a lot over the last few years, can’t put my finger on why. I normally like her fiction but didn’t rate her latest fiction book either. 🫤

I just finished book 5 of the mindfk series. Took me a while as I went away for work for a week but also because book 5 was a tiny bit of a let down. I did not enjoy it as much as the first 4 so I only gave it 3 stars, overall the series gets a 4. Perfect timing though as I’m off to now read the Housemaid sequel!
