I returned an audible book the other day that I used a credit on and then became a 1.99 daily deal.
I had no issues returning and rebuying
Did you just get a credit refunded?

The Nothing Man and The Stranding are verrrrry different books.
Both brilliant but very different haha
I’ve gone for The Stranding. 20% in and I’m hooked…It depends what you’re in the mood for - a thriller or a beautiful story of family and survival.
I came here to post this. I bought the hardback months ago and it has been sitting on my to read pile beside my beside table for monthsArghhhhhh I used an audible credit for 'the school for good mothers' about 2 weeks ago.
Its on a 99p deal. Nothing makes me madder. Wonder if I could return it![]()
So annoying isnt itI came here to post this. I bought the hardback months ago and it has been sitting on my to read pile beside my beside table for months![]()
Yes! I find I get through my Kindle reads a lot quicker. My bag for work is already full of laptop, keys, lunch etc. and chucking a book in there is not always possible. So annoying isnt itespecially because its so much easier to pick up your kindle than a hardback.
I love how hardbacks look but theyre a faff to read. Only positive is the little jacket bookmarks![]()
I'm sure it's pretty standard. Is it a hassle for libraries when you order books? We have a local library, but they don't have the best selection so sometimes I'll order them instead. I've always wondered if this is a standard thing or if it's annoying for the libraries?![]()
Ive just signed up to borrow box and the selection is v underwhelming. Why does everyone have good library apps
my one is tit, they never have any good books on there
yes we have borrow box too, i got it mainly for audio books but any semi decent ones are on loan for ages and have a long waiting list.Ive just signed up to borrow box and the selection is v underwhelming.

Brilliant analysis of Layla. I cannot even begin to explain how ridiculous the whole concept was for me and I loathed every page that I had the misfortune to read.Layla: gaslighting trashbag of a man presented as a romantic hero. I was so intrigued as to where this was going and it went nowhere good.
i’m loathe to bring her up again but i feel this way with all coho books - all her men are trash but presented as heroes that we should forgive because they have traumatic pasts. still not over it ends with usBrilliant analysis of Layla. Yeah I planned on using ipad or phone but its really not my preferred method of reading but figured Id do it for a book I really wanted to read.Yeah I discovered this too- I think if you have a tablet you can read on them but I only have a kindle. It works on kindles in AmericaDoes anyone else’s library charge them to reserve books? I have to pay 50p per book! (Still cheaper than 99p on kindle though so I don’t mind if it’s something I have been after for a while!)
