i thought I was going through some early menopause but it turned out it’s an under active thyroid. Been on tablets for about 5 weeks now and need more bloods done in around another week for the doctor to see how they’re working and adjust the dose if needed. She said I am highly unlikely at my age to be experiencing menopause and I am 40. Might be worth you having bloods done for thyroid as periods and weight can be affected x
