She always seems to add ‘haha’ to not come across so aggressive in her replies, but it just makes her look immature and like she can’t stand up for herself
Melbourne just looks like she’s living in any other city like she’s not making it look anything special

niche CV!I actually can’t think why anyone would want to buy Tom’s ‘merch’..? 
She’s tripping herself up on the reality (an AirBnB essentially as a holiday home) and her projected social media pretence (grown ups living in a metropolitan city)
Says there was no need for Tom to get the sausage roll maker because they won’t be in the flat for long, but she wanted a bedside table & lamp and whatever other stuff she/they bought.
She classified this trip as “moving” to Australia, but she didn’t take gym or hiking stuff, didn’t take work/interview stuff, and didn’t take colder weather stuff. It’s almost like all she considered when she packed was Instagram photos.

I thought that, too. She just had to have a lasagne dish to make veggie lasagne!
The sausage roll thing was ridiculous though. Stuff like that in general, when it has such a specific use, is wasteful. Unless you’re going to make sausage rolls every few days which they could probably do without after eating out for several weeks straight.
And at such a cheap price, I’m guessing it’ll break quite quickly, so it’s probably not even worth giving away when they leave the apartment.

Oh yeah, without doubt it’s wasteful and a stupid purchase. But it’s the double standards for me. Molly buying a lasagne dish, wall planner, bedside table etc totally fine. But by her same definition, Tom buying a sausage roll machine, pointless.
She’s definitely the main character in their relationship (just like she is with her family AND her friends), and I genuinely don’t know how Tom puts up with her arrogance. Wonder if she’s trying to make herself the centre of attention at work yet.
