They could just make up quotes themselves about what “tattlers” said so if there’s no way they’re going to verify or prove who said what and what their username is then it’s just going to be another useless hit piece on tattle which I bet you will reveal nothing. We’ve already seen from the trailer how they disingenuously manipulated 2 comments to make them seem worse than they are. Also, Seb lives abroad so if that crass trailer where she knocks on someone’s door turns out to be his parents or sister, couldn’t they have a case for stalking and harassment?! Just leave Seb’s relatives alone, they have nothing to do with this!
I saw a comment that it matched SBs parents house. Which I think is really bad of the BBC. If it's his parents car and opening the door that's shocking how their hype trailer is misleading and targeting people nothing to do with tattle. If someone on tattle did the same there would be outrage, banned and possibly the thread closed. So why are the BBC allowed to do it?

The MSM coverage of Tattle has been pretty one sided. Even when the ruling went against the Tattle couple, the BBC rather than leading with how sensationally poorly the case had been handled placed the detail towards the end of the article.

Most people only skim headlines and the first few paragraphs, so it's easy to miss that context.

As for GK Barry, I'm genuinely curious as to what experience does she have in credible investigative journalism? I'm not sure why she would be the right person to provide a balanced perspective. Happy to be corrected…

SB has spoken to a journalist he must consider credible and has shared a timeline supported by documented facts. If he isn't included in the documentary, perhaps the script had already been written before his input was sought.

As if they actually wanted to hear from him and present a fair story. They just want a ‘gotcha’ moment.

It's interesting that they wanted to speak with people who used Tattle in the past or were currently active users yet they completely ignored you @10% after you had emailed them expressing your concerns with the influencers that you speak about and in the post at the top of this thread from @ToadyHarsh their friend also contacted the production company where they sent one email, got a reply back which they replied to and then heard nothing from them after that. They wanted to speak to Tattlers but then for some reason chose to ignore both you and @ToadyHarsh's friend.
I met my friend at the weekend and got screenshots of the emails. I'll post them in full when I get a chance/if anyone's interested, but this bit stuck out

ETA might be better to talk to mods before posting anything further, if that's even possible 🤷

It’s horrific. Not to mention of course that online sleuths are better than the police nowadays. I believe the town they live in was already revealed in an article but online weirdos will probably be able to find the specific street from the front door alone. The last thing Seb’s parents need are weirdo influencers who feel slighted by tattle finding their exact address and harassing them.

The BBC has already shown they don't cover tattle with any impartiality.

There will be no balance.

They will evidence claims but it's easy to find the 0.1% of the posts you want to claim represent the whole site. Their trailer alone showed them doing this!

Take Sophie Dickson, there were about 6 not good comments about her daughter out of 10'000. They will take those 6 and ignore the other 9'994 so they will be evidenced but it's cherry picking to get the results they want. Sophie has shown she will lie about this all, so they will repeat these lies and say it's her truth. Ignoring all the troublesome posts about her daughter on tiktok, X etc over the years. It's all tattle's fault.

Should the article be pinned

Well GK is hosting as she is or was an influencer.

She is also quite mouthy and doesn’t care about confrontation.

I didn’t really know her before IAC but she came across as a good laugh.

Her thread is quite low traffic on Tattle but she discusses a lot of current stuff on her Podcast.

Not seen her on any BBC stuff before let’s see how the show is soon.

I think it's available tonight on YouTube and iPlayer

The BBC are promoting it as taking a look inside to see if tattle fair game or not. Why can't someone read and decide for themselves? Start with the Dr Jessica Taylor threads 👁 https://tattle.life/tags/jessica-taylor/

GK Barry gets paid to work with Mrs Hinch and P&G etc. I'm sure she'll be balanced on it all

'I'm the subject of notorious forum Tattle Life' (or whatever).

GK Barry's thread (singular) is 4 years old and in total has 19 pages (bearing in mind most threads go up to about 55 pages) about 350 comments.
So about 85 comments per year.
About one and a half comments a week.
That's just embarassing.

ETA tbf she was talked about more on the generic I'm A Celeb threads but that was fleeting 🤷‍♀️
