The only photos of her kids that Tattlers would ever have access to are photos that she has posted herself.
Some creators don’t seem to conceptualise or reckon with the fact that their followers are all real people. They seem to think social media is a faceless money machine where you plug in personal content and magically out pops a fistful of cash, but no industry gives you money for nothing. That audience which they use to make money is millions of real people with their own thoughts and feelings and agency. Anything you give to them is going to get shared and remembered and discussed and maybe used in ways you don’t like. Those are the exact mechanisms by which you build an audience so you can make money. Like every business there are risks you accept because it’s worth the cost to you - as don draper once said, that’s what the money is for! If you’re the target of a crime there are already mechanisms in place to deal with that, just like if a business gets robbed or whatever. Any of these creators could get off the internet tomorrow and be a civilian (I can think of a few big creators who have actually done this), but most of them won’t because this is a lucrative job and, despite their constant complaining, the risks are worth it for how much money they earn.

It’s funny because the ad for this show popped up on my Instagram so came over here to see what GK Barry’s thread was like, and I can’t even find it in the search! Does she even have one?!

Another sensible, balanced, grown-up post. I enjoy a snipe at someone giving the finger and wearing an ill-fitting jumpsuit on their wedding day as much as the next person, but I wouldn't even have an opinion if she hadn't posted it in the first place.

Here's JT, 'a mother who lives in Manchester' and 'a best-selling author and successful psychologist' (!) selling her story to the Mirror: https://archive.is/XQTWA

She's suggesting that Jennifers showed her 'pictures of [her] kids'. The only photos of her kids that Tattlers would ever have access to are photos that she has posted herself. And I've only ever seen those posted with faces blanked. Something she (and all the other influencers) should have taken the time to consider, before putting her children online forever without their consent.
Ugh that's like Hirons bleating on about' they posted pictures of my grandkids in my house'. The implication being the photos were taken covertly rather than the truth which was Hirons herself had posted them. If it's the ones I've seen the posters here covered the faces. Hirons didn't. She then tried to waffle on about data breaches or something, as you need permission to screenshot and repost photos which I'm fairly sure is complete bull 😂

I've posted this on the documentary thread but thought it was apt here too. From another forum. This post was in answer to the claim the documentary would be looking 'at both sides'. Applies to Dr Jess too.

Exactly. GK Barry has said a lot of witchy things that aren't different to most of tattle.

Can you imagine if licence payers money was used to send someone with a camera crew round to watch and doorstep her parents?

With all the talk of BBC budget cuts this is shocking.

I had a quick skim through her half thread 😂
Incredibly mild. A lot of people saying they like her and she's funny. And the negative comments usually provided context along the lines of 'I used to like her but she's trying too hard now' type stuff.
It always makes me laugh how vain these Tattle detractors are. They pick on things like the comments quoted but will never repeat the ones saying about her manky extensions or inch thick makeup. Which you'd think they would if they wanted to make a point. Because those are the comments that obviously really annoy them but they won't admit it.

Oh my word! Fame at last!
It’s slim pickings though from her thread. I’m pretty sure that my post quoted and someone defended her!
I assume that they approached a few influencers and she jumped at the chance. Or she and her management pitched it to the BBC.
She will have been wanting it, she was bringing up Tattle out of nowhere in the jungle may aswell have looked straight down the camera and winked.

I'd never heard of her and her face doesn't ring any bells. She could stroll straight past me and I'd carry on with my day 🤪 From that trailer she seems to think she has found the express lane to "please notice me" 😂

I’m surprised the likes of Dr Jess or Caroline Hirons haven’t got their mugs in this “documentary”.

I’d love to know who this ‘Tattler’ she got to speak with is, and if they verified that they are or ever were a tattle user at all. Be very lazy sloppy work if they didnt check it, but then this is the BBC I suppose.

I emailed them saying my concerns with the influencers I speak about and they never got back to me.

I expect it's someone who says they were in a dark place and taking out their issues on influencers instead of getting therapy. Or someone who was tit stirring on loadsa threads so got booted and they'll claim they were banned for reporting racism or some other unbelievable reason.

It's interesting that they wanted to speak with people who used Tattle in the past or were currently active users yet they completely ignored you @10% after you had emailed them expressing your concerns with the influencers that you speak about and in the post at the top of this thread from @ToadyHarsh their friend also contacted the production company where they sent one email, got a reply back which they replied to and then heard nothing from them after that. They wanted to speak to Tattlers but then for some reason chose to ignore both you and @ToadyHarsh's friend.

None of the most vocal anti-tattle grifters 'influencers' would agree to be part of any project that aimed to take a look into what is actually on this website, because it could so easily expose all their bull claims. Imagine Dr Jess having to explain on camera why none of the researchers had managed to find any of the doxing, threats and whatever else balls she's claimed to have seen on her thread.

There's a reason the face of this doc is someone with so few threads- all the people with hundreds of threads on here know full well it's because they've said/done so much shady tit and they don't want a full production crew uncovering it all 😂

They could just make up quotes themselves about what “tattlers” said so if there’s no way they’re going to verify or prove who said what and what their username is then it’s just going to be another useless hit piece on tattle which I bet you will reveal nothing. We’ve already seen from the trailer how they disingenuously manipulated 2 comments to make them seem worse than they are. Also, Seb lives abroad so if that crass trailer where she knocks on someone’s door turns out to be his parents or sister, couldn’t they have a case for stalking and harassment?! Just leave Seb’s relatives alone, they have nothing to do with this!
