You are so right - it didn’t make sense. I thought it had a part 2 because it ended without really getting to a point. It was also really badly presented. I have never heard of GK but I don’t think I’ll be watching any other documentaries she makes.

And her career has 'put her in the crosshairs of many of its (Tattle's) users'? Wot? I haven't counted how many posters contributed to her half thread - but to say 10 over 4 years is being generous.
GK Barry says she loved it but I'm certain his parents didn't though especially when she rang the doorbell as they were probably very scared because for all they knew she could have been a burglar/scammer etc especially when the DM doxxed his parents and then someone else via Reddit posted the town they came from, the road name where they lived as well as posting threats which said they would be at risk of physical harm when SB was unmasked.

She must know his parents and family had received threats. It was a horrible and unkind thing to do. If someone on Tattle did that they'd rightly be banned instantly.
She's highlighting how dishonest she is. The daily mail doxxed SB's parents. She didn't investigate anything and knew he didn't live there.
If tattle was as bad as she says we'd all be organising a group to meet outside her parents and harass them and stream it. That would be the equivalent of what she's done.

The so called “documentarians” repeatedly and intentionally lied by omission, by failing to accurately and truthfully reveal the entirety of the comment(s) and the context in which they were made. They had a preset agenda to target tattle life and to wantonly and deceitfully mislead viewers in an inflammatory manner, just like many of the scammers, con artists, and scurrilous breed of influencers revealed, discussed, and held accountable in the tattle life forums.

When you read it in its entirety you can see it’s only speculation about what was going on in the majority of the posts and not direct hate comments like they’ve manufactured for the doc
I think context is part of it. If you were a random person seeing the bowelbro posts you wouldn’t get a real flavour of the scamming, it seems a bit harsh out of context to be saying he may not be dying or dead (because we know he died).
SMD’s stand on their own, people are throwing around words like “safeguarding” and “educational welfare” and “sex worker” they are much easier to see problems in the background of what’s going on and that she’s a child posting live in public.

There's no denying that some comments are nasty, that's not unique to tattle. People are happy to be just as nasty under their own name on Facebook.
I think it says it all that 20 parts of posts out of 11'357 were used. They chose a tiny amount of content to back up the story they wanted to tell. It wasn't balanced, fair or objective.
Some of the comments are more understandable if you click to read them in the thread and the circumstances they were posted in.
It is hard to accurately tell a complicated story but quite a few of the edits shouldn't have ever made it in to, what's calling itself, a documentary.
Not once did this GK ask why such comments were said and in what context. It was presented as people trolling for fun when there was questionable behaviour from the influencers.

It is hard to accurately tell a complicated story but quite a few of the edits shouldn't have ever made it in to, what's calling itself, a documentary.
Not once did this GK ask why such comments were said and in what context. It was presented as people trolling for fun when there was questionable behaviour from the influencers.
I'll just say (and yes, I'm in the US) but I'd never heard of this woman until I saw this thread.
