BBC3 tattle documentary by fullfattv

I’m glad there’s a thread for this. Saw it on my Iplayer homepage, thought it’d be a good watch.
Turned it off after 10 mins, what a load of rit.

Tbh it was a documentary about nothing and I still maintain that it should have been on for longer but they had to cut a lot of things out hence the reason why it felt like nothing made sense as they moved on to different things for too quickly.

It's now got subtitles on the iPlayer. The BBC say 100% of iPlayer content will have subtitles.

It was almost certainly last minute edited to get them now.

I get the impression that the documentary was last minute as it was rushed and not very well thought out at all despite the fact that they announced it back in February.

Yes it's very odd that there's been more people pushing it that had nothing to do with it than the 'star' herself.

I said similar upthread.

I didn't watch the full interview, it was too annoying, but at a MINIMUM, they should have said something about the fact that she called on two people who had NOTHING to do with the situation. Maybe I am misremembering but they seemed to giggle along with her, ooh you must have been terrified kinda thing.

So, it's okay to doorstep innocent people but at the same time, accuse tattlers* of doing all sorts, including stalking. And none of them could see anything wrong with that.

*I have yet to figure out how they apparently know that people are tattlers. Is there a badge?

Notadoc claimed she had spent months on this, but failed to appear or be mentioned. It was edited very last minute, hence its original appearance lacking subtitles.

If she spent months on it like she claimed IMO she would have announced it months/weeks before not on the same day that it aired and the fact it was edited at the very last minute tells me that something must have happened for this to have occurred.

Er, we know the massive court ruling a few months ago would have had an impact.

So, in this doc (if people have seen any of it), is there some big "gotcha" moment where they, I don't know, prove anything they're alleging? Was this stuff maybe financed by the folks who originally sued to out SB and try to shut it down?

I don't watch This Morning but after reading on this thread about GK Barry's appearance on Wednesday's programme - re the hateful posts, doxxing of people's addresses, threats (and worse!) etc, on Tattle, I downloaded it.

Now. Some really serious and absolutely disgusting/abhorrent accusations were made against this forum. So ...

How come none of the producers of this programme asked for proof of such accusations before allowing this woman to appear? Why did none of the presenters ask GK Barry for proof of these accusations?

Surely such celebrities/influencers, etc, who claim to be 'victims' of said abuse would have screenshots of same? But none were presented.

Same goes for that Jessica Taylor on The Jeremy Vine programme last week, which I did watch - she was promoting her book . He didn't ask her about any evidence either.

I'd say Tattle had a very good case for suing for slander/libel in these cases.

if it was impartial they could have easily spent 15 mins on that ruling and getting an expert in. The media ignored it.

I think lots happened to take the wind out of its sails. They couldn't broadcast lots of the wild influencer claims as they made them up. The court case and all that went on. Dr Jessica Taylor was lying about it all so they couldn't use her stuff. And something else happened last minute causing an edit. I think the BBC thought let's not play it on BBC3, put on iPlayer it and move on.

I wonder what the tattler who's friend was watching it thought of it?

They don’t, really. They would need to show the financial impacts of those statements. If anything it’s probably increasing the number of views.

Apparently SB is working on a complex legal case against Dr Jess and her publisher.

She give a nod to the court case, like it was all a legitimate legal challenge. She should have been held to account re the fact that the NS & DS case was not as cut & dry as they wanted or made it out to be!

Katie Hopkins lost her house falsely claiming jack monroe defaced a war memorial. GK saying tattle caused suicides and that it was mainly about posting address and schools is so much worse.

No, because a culture documentary they made on tattle didn’t even get broadcast on BBC3, it was dumped online.

News-wise the Guardian letting Sali Hughes do an extensive lifestyle interview with the Sands where they talked about all the death threats and medical records etc are more in the naughty corner.

It's interesting that when they first announced the documentary they said that it was going to air on BBC3 but because things obviously went wrong they dumped it on BBC iPlayer and YouTube instead.

hey featured tattler here… she took one comment about reporting things and ran with it. Our interview was hours of chatting and they used less than 2 mins.
I shown her various pages about different celebs that needed to be held accountable and said if someone is so strong minded about their opinion… and putting it on the internet then they should be willing to respect other people’s opinions. She just said in the good morning inter … I don’t know what that user uses it for!! bull I gave her my phone with the account open and she went through it. I have nothing to hide … I stuck up for tattle big time and shown her the other side and she agreed with me ON camera which then coincidentally didn’t make the edit.

Alfie was also the name on the email my friend got in her reply from Full large TV.

Alfie was at the interview I did in london, just before the doc aired I got this email, then another email with links providing ‘support’ incase I got any backlash?!?!? Like wtf
