I didn't get a chance to listen to Liza's show last night, but I just wanted to say, Shaun Keaveney deserves more than 1 hour per week. I really like him as a presenter, just a shame he only gets one show per week.
6music made a really stupid error moving him on imo.i feel the rock show is too short.
Tony Blackburn said he got sacked from his job in a Sugar Cube factory....turned out ok though as he received a Lump Sum

Thoughts on big weekend line up? We went to Dundee in 2023 and it was amazing but not feeling it this year
Am not the target audience for 1 big weekend but its a bit meh . The dance night is decent Sunday I feel is stronger than the Saturday. There not really a superstar name where the past there been acts like Lady gaga, Madonna foos ....
I saw a poster for the day Olivia Dean is headlining and they basically just listed all their own DJs as doing sets. Obviously that’s their job but it seems a bit of a downgrade from having actual names on the poster, just their own staff
Just a bit boring isn't it! International stars don't seem to want anything to do with it. It doesn't feel that long ago they got the likes of Miley and Rihanna headlining!
The pop scene and general R1 playlist over the last few years has got dire imo!
I feel since the 6music fest based itself in Manchester the line up been meh esp as 99% of touring acts have a Manchester date in their schedule. The year it came to glasgow it was such a buzz in the week leading up to it esp the Depeche mode gig as they had not played glasgow in years. Radio2 fest will b in Stirling in Sept either texas ,proclaimers or Deacon blue will b wheeled out for that

i feel for greg now having to do this comic relief challenge for a week where he’ll end up in edinburgh and far away if something happens.i got a bit emotional this morning when he was talking about his dad’s hospital records having a note to say that radio 1 must be put on at 7am for him
