I’d be surprised if Greg leaves. He seems happy but they do change things up regularly. Jamie’s challenge was so bad because he wasn’t prepared.
Spoke too soon it’s taken a bit of depressing turn just now
it feels like this challenge is generally getting a lot less coverage across the radio but I’m not complaining after last year
The challenges usually take a depressing turn on a Wednesday though. Think it’s to boost support and make for a good story arc 
i would be too. he’s the shining star of the station (and i feel like everyone knows it) and they have no one to replace him with. as someone the same age as him, he must feel so OLD doing radio 1 now though, everytime someone messages in to say they’re revising for gcses i go
it must be so awful for him to be doing this when his dad is so unwell; i really hope he at least got given the option to back out.
I have my own personal experiences with Greg and my opinion of him was that he’s a fool. Then again, this was roughly 15 years ago when he was just starting out. Props to him for doing this challenge though, could never be me!

I think Greg just sounds so sarcastic and condescending on his show, like he's the 'big I am'.
Jamie Laing, think the challenge was an ultra marathon type thing
jamie laing, he did 5 ultramarathons in 5 days. i thought it was pretty impressive that he managed it tbh, i can barely even run 5k
One of my exes was/is loose friends with Scott Mills and got invited to a few nights out with the R1 gang at the time. I went once & I just had a bad experience with Greg, alcohol was involved and he was just very cockywhat’s the beef with greg?

Does Mollie speak when she’s on radio 1? All I’ve heard her do this morning is say mhmm and yeah while Matt does all the talking.

Yeah I can't see him leaving completely, he must have had many many offers to jump to commercial over the years and I imagine one of the reasons he's sticking around is because he knows they'll just shift him over to 2 when the time comes
Was anyone listening earlier when Matt Edmundson was saying he joined R1 shortly after Greg and a lot of the other presenters weren’t that friendly as they were threatened by the newer presenters (or words to that effect).

She certainly relies on Matt to do the heavy lifting, I do wonder if she had connections to get into R1 (like Jamie Laing). She's fine, but very bland.
